How long will QuickBooks 2021 Desktop Pro Enterprise be supported?
i can make a backup of a portable company file without problems. But when I try to backup a company on my external drive, it does not work. I show in attachment what I get in the saved folders. I am licensed copy of QuickBooks Pro 2019 desktop. Thanks for any advice. Paul
I cannot get QB to transfer files to desktop
I use QB Online. Need to know the number of employees that were empoyed on 12th of each month, SS number, wage detail, etc. It all used to be found in one report and I can no longer access it. QB online chat was not able to find it. Also tried looking where others have recommended in previous posts and it is nowhere to be found. Has it moved? Thanks for help!

I have a client who created a new QBO account, but set himself up in the Accountant platform instead one of the paywall accounts. He's already set up bank feeds and other entries. Also created his vendors as clients, so there's that too. He doesn't need anything more than Simple Start at this time. How do I get his account converted to Simple Start? Hoping we don't have to recreate everything in a new account.
Am I the only one who continuously has issues with Error Code -6123,0? I've run Quick Fix my program, File Doctor, called Support, etc. NOTHING WORKS! I am to the point that I am looking for alternative ways to process payroll. The only way I'm able to open a file is to try to open it, get the Error message, close out, try again, get the Error Message, close out, etc. for AT LEAST 5 times before it finally gives in and opens my company file. I do payroll for up to 40 companies, and this is extremely time consuming.
I use quickbooks online. I need to transfer a dollar amount internally from one account to another. That's no problem, I just match it as a transfer. I also need to categorize the amount in my chart of accounts. That's where I don't know what to do.
I have been trying to restore my QBO system to a date about 10 days ago from both the QBO Backup and Restore app's auto backups and a manual full backup. Each time I do the restore I end up with more garbage inserted in the system.For example, when I began, I showed a correct credit card debt of $238.00. At the end of one restore point, I showed that the credit card company owed me $22,493.34. Each time I tried to correct this by restoring to a different moment in time, it got worse. All of the restore points were in the last 10 days.After six tries, according to my QBO records, I now owe the credit card company $47,230.35 and have an "uncategorized asset" totaling $90,666.32.I also have records in the system that are well dated beyond the date and time I was attempting to get back to indicating. For example, I did a "restore" back to a full manual backup on Feb. 18, 2023, and, after completion, I still had records in the system dated Feb. 26, 27 and 28, 2023.Has anyone successfully re

since I updated my QB 2022 version to the 2023 version I can't do the online backup!!! it's so frustrating!! This upgrade was the worst thing I can do!! My dashboard stopped showing account balances, how do I get that back please?
All the details are above. The only way I can see to do that is by going to expense transactions and looking at the expenses with a filter - one at a time. This is a tedious way to get this information. Can't I just get a report of the total expenses per category somewhere?
Trial period expired 2 days ago when i try to renew my subscription online it doesnt allow me to save the company info or change anything its read only mode since the trial period ran out i guess any idea how to fix this
How do you clear the cache while in QB app? I was told that I had to uninstall and reinstall the program. Isn't there an easier way to do this? My account does get sluggish from time to time so I have done this a couple of times. Clearing browsing data and cache through Google tools does not work. I hope I just missed the memo on this... What is my current Quickbooks Online version number; where can I find it?I'm not asking about the Product Version, ('QuickBooks Plus') which is listed under Billing & Subscription (see screenshot). I'm asking about the version number of the released version which my company is currently using. The user interface does not seem to show this to the user.Apparently, Intuit rolls out updates to accounts in groups, so if you have more than one company file as an example, you can have one company with one set of features, and the other without those or with additional features. As a result, the online documentation is frequently wrong, irrelevant and outdated, as I experienced when trying to set up Quickbooks Online Plus for Nonprofit use. A CSR answered this: "To clear out your confusion, we recently rolled out an update in QuickBooks Online." This removed the option to set up a new company as Non-Profit, but the documentation states otherwise.The updates and versioning of Quickbooks onl
To put to simply, QuickBooks Online should have already done this, but for some reason, they have failed to put money toward this feature. QBO needs the option to store an electronic signature that will print in the correct location when checks are printed, just like the Desktop Version already does.
My bookkeeping activities sometimes involves digging through paper files, not just online actions. I want to turn back to my PC and not have to log back into Quickbooks Online because I was away for too long.
I just started working with this person last Friday, I'm trying to clean things up for them which has proven to be super difficult. He has only done one bank rec. It was reconciled on 3/25/21 yet it includes transactions from late 2019, all the way through 2020, and ending around January 2021. When they reconciled everything zeroed out so I assume they did it correctly. Working on their next one, they tried to reconcile uncleared transactions starting on Feb. 2020 through 2020 to Feb 2021 and of course it didn't match and there was a huge difference since those couldn't be reconciled since they are uncleared. What do I do to fix this? I tried to create reverse journal entries which worked to clear the transactions from the bank rec screen but then that messed up the bank balance in quickbooks. Please help, they just want the charges that are uncleared to disappear. I just did his next reconciliation, and everything is still zeroing out so since were caught up and everything matches I'm
