I'm setting up our proposed budget for next year but would like to run a side by side report that shows the proposed budget for next FY vs the current budget for this FY.
Being able to move thru a transaction without having to use a mouse results in quick and efficient entering of data. When you tab down from the Tags field, you land on the green plus sign (to add a line) but now a separate box pops up that you get stuck in and cannot get out of without using the mouse. This popup is also impossible to use as an entry line as it stays a very small so you cannot see what you are entering and where. Anyone else having this problem and know how to fix it?
Hi .. I need help and the Bot was not sending me the right response. I just started with invoicing (will likely have more questions on this!) and when I set it up I entered my bank account to receive the deposits. I now have verification transactions to enter and can't find where to do this.
I could be wrong here, if so let me know.I record my transactions of purchasing snakes as a Fixed Asset. Which is all fine and dandy. But how do i record breeders that i produced myself. For instance, say one year i hold back 5 babies to grow out and use as breeders. Shouldn't i record that in my Fixed Assets somehow, or as Capital. Something? To reflect what my business has. This probably wont much matter for things like taxes, again i dont know...but im thinking for things like showing reports if i want to get a business loan or something and need to show how much capital I have, etc.
Migration from QuickBooks desktop to Quickbooks Online
Hey Everyone, I want to use the QB desktop version. I visited the price page and there was no option of a monthly subscription. Can anyone share the link where I can purchase the monthly subscription for the QB desktop product?
The information did not automatically roll over to my balance sheet as it's supposed to. This was the first year of business and the balance sheet shows $0 in retained earnings for the end of 2021.
Can you add custom fields to credit card expense transactions or check expense transactions?
I moved for desktop to online and i don't see the option to run the A/P aging summary report.
I just want to be able to enter my password and sign in without fetching codes from emails or phone numbers.
Check issued 4/7/17 and was never voided. There is no option to date the void today and I do not want to impact 2017 financial reports.

dealing with part numbers that have changed over time. (not the item, just the product id). we have manuals that specify the old part numbers so our mechanics need to be able to enter the new number - or the old number - and find the right bin. Does quickbooks inventory have the ability to hold an alternate id number for a part? thanks.
