We just started using QB and wanted to enter the Journal Entries from Jan 2020 per month.I have to create the journal entries but it's not allowing me to use the Account for Accounts Receivable.We won't be using QB to create invoices since we have an AMS system that we will only be importing the summarized entry for each GL Account. How would I enter the Journal Entries including the AR account?
I can't login into my quickbooks desktop with my intuit account to use merchant services. Both quickbooks and internet explorer are on the newest version. I use quickbooks Desktop Pro 2019. I can login fine with firefox, but unfortunately, that's not what qb uses. I've tried adding intuit to the trusted websites on internet explorer, clearing the cache, but none of that works. Hello, I have closed a business account at my bank. I transferred the balance to my money market account. When I try to do the final reconciliation of the closed account it still shows a Cleared Balance. Do I somehow need to enter the transaction that transferred the money out to make the Cleared Balance zero and how? Any suggestions or website recommendations would be appreciated.
I am trying to clear an old loan from the Chart of Accounts. We got the loan in 2012 for $44,138.40 and paid it off with biyearly payments in 2016. Once the account was created in the Chart of Accounts, my bookkeeper at the time never did anything else with it. Now it's showing up in my tax reports and I need to get it out of there. Can anyone give me any information on how I should go about doing this? Thank you in advance. I'm a newbie at bookkeeping, and learning as I go, so I don't want to make any mistakes. Kris
