I need to set someone up for Read Only access. When I researched, the QB On Line website said to choose the "View Company Reports" role. Yet when I try to set up such a user, this role does not appear in my drop down list of Roles. Is there some trick to adding this type of User Role or can it even been done in a small company QB On Line version? Not sure how reply works, but it's "[email address removed]". Thanks! Tom
I have 2 users with different card numbers linked to one credit card account. When I am trying to link my QuickBooks online to the credit card account it asks me to select an account from quickbooks. I selected 1 card to be linked to the main account in the chart of accounts and the 2nd card is linked to a subaccount under the same chart of account. I get a message "The account, Chase Ink, has a subaccount that is already connected to an account at one of your banks."How do I create this?
I need to change bank account information on my account. Please advise the easiest way to do this.
I have no transactions left to review and my other two cars are marked as inactive. My current car is marked as the primary vehicle and has the date and make/model filled out.
Our Case is: [removed by a moderator]. We were told we would get an update on April 14. This never happened. The Copy function runs for days then fails. This occurred on 3/23, 3/29, and 4/5. Finally, one ran to "success" after running several days on 4/6. But since so much time had passed, and the data did not appear to match with the source (we were uncertain about that), we started another Backup and this past weekend. The backup took over 40 hours. At this moment, the Copy process has been running for over 48 hours and has been stuck at 75% progress for more than 24 hours. This is simply not acceptable. A backup and copy function should be a straight forward process. If there is a problem, a customer should not be left hanging for almost a month!

I subscribe through apple. When I finished my taxes, it was asking me to pay $288. I already pay $450 for quickbooks. When I called they said that Turbo Tax and Quickbooks are different companies and I would have to talk to Quickbooks. They also said that the only version of self employed Turbo Tax is a "live" version.

How do I categorize these "deposits" since they are NOT business revenue or income? How to keep them off the P&L report?

I have two personal bank accounts and several credit cards. None of them are designated “business” accounts – they are all personal accounts/cards that I had before I ever started my business. However, when I started my business I used those bank accounts and 2-3 of those credit cards for business transactions (I know, I know, not supposed to do that, but, here we are). So, it’s a big mix of mostly personal and some business transactions that flow through all of those accounts.Q: When I make the monthly payment to one of those credit cards, do I label it as “Credit Card payment” or would it be better to categorize as “Personal Expense”?
We have hundreds and eventually thousands of recurring customers. We receive an email every time a customer makes a payment, which then clutters our email. Is there a way to disable this? We really don't need emails to track every single payment made!

Hello, I have QBO and all of my customers click the "review and pay" button on my invoices that is powered by QuickBooks. We don't do any mobile stuff, don't hand key. Above is the ONLY way for CC payments! Do I have to do something or are we good? Thank you for your time!
