Hi I am desperately trying to counteract an error on reconcilation of a bank account, but am struggling to do so. The bank had been reconciled by a previous person but then had alterations made to entries some of which were deleted. Each month that has been reconciled has the correct cleared amounts for amounts paid in and out, however, there appears to be a uncleared amount of £8.75 that is creating a mis-match on the register and what has been cleared on the bank statement which has carried through for several months. This amount appears to have been deleted but is still showing as uncleared. How do I remove this from the reconcilation to enable me to balance the books. When I go to reconcile it also indicates that the beginning balance is off by -£16.20, which I also cannot seem to account for. Any help would be gratefully received.
I’m new to this. I’m trying to link my Santander business account but Quick Books are only finding my E Saver account so I currently can’t link my account. Santander say it’s not a fault with them as my account is live and listed. can anyone help? I can’t get through to anyone online at quick books.
We have been suffering with an error on our Bank of Scotland bank feed for the past few days - error 101. Have tried on multiple browsers/internet connections as well as anything listed in this article as reference elsewhere on the forum: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-uk/help-article/banking/fix-bank-error-101/L5cGb4Da7_GB_en_GB?uid=ldimepkk Please advise.
I'm looking for some help with my accounts before looking into reconciling with our linked bank account. We have been using quickbooks since Feb 19 to get up to speed for MTD. On opening the account we never entered a starting balance into the quickbooks account but we have linked quickbooks to our bank account. I'm confident quickbooks is working and the account is up to date but we have never used the reconcile function and the account balance in quickbooks does not tie up with the account balance in the linked bank account. Is there a way to insert an account opening balance into quickbooks as of the date we began using it to align the accounts.
HelpA few days ago, I deleted a historic transaction that took place before the beginning of the financial year and while I was trying to work out how quickbooks worked. Now, as a result, I have two bank balances that are out and I can't get into the bank reconcilliation to see what's going on. I've tried recreating the deleted transactions, but I seem to be going around in circles and I'm worried about messing things up too much Can anyone advise please? Thanks

We are unable to connect out bank feed with Co-op bank, we have been attempting to do this since 25/01/2023. Prior to this we were reconnecting quite often (more than the every 3 months). I believe there have also been problems with Nationwide. Is this a quickbooks issue or a bank issue? It is incredibly frustrating.
Hi, I have been trying for a week or so now to reconnect my bank accounts (RBS and Co-Op Business Bank) as the connections have expired. When I try to reconnect I am taken to the page which allows me to choose which account I want to reconnect to, but when I hit the Connect button on the following page (which should take me to my bank's login page) nothing happens. I have tried this process using both Firefox and Chrome (I have no pop-up blockers installed) and have also tried using an incognito tab to complete the reconnection, but all have been unsuccessful. Can anyone offer any advice as this is becoming very frustrating. Thanks in advance.
Whomever is responsible for Coop on line baking web/banking build should be fired it is the worst platform I have ever found. So unintuitive. The last was was really really bad. This is also so bad it's unusable. Now the bank wont connect with Quickbooks. It's joke, a bad one !
QB Desktop 2014I have a discrepancy between the balances shown on the banking register and on the reconciliation report. The difference is exactly the amount of a deposit made over 18 months ago but deleted last month. However the same sum shows as deposited in the register which reconciles manually with the bank statement but the reconciliation window shows an opening balance which differs from the actual, as shown on printouts of the last reconciliation, by the amount deleted. Because of the automated deletion of more than 3 company file backups, I do not have a back up prior to the date of the deletion. In all other respect the program is operating correctly. Is there a way to correct this issue? There is not a huge amount of entries so I am prepared to re-enter data but I am now nervous of deleting anything after this experience. Banking reconciliations no longer make any sense so until the fault is corrected, it's not worth doing them.
I’ve been using the desktop version for years, reconciliation includes entering the amount of bank charges/interest as part of the process. Now moved to online and there doesn’t seem to be a place to enter bank charges. Do I have to treat my bank as a supplier and enter an ‘invoice’ and payment every month or am I missing something? Thanks for any advice on this!
No updates from my bank to my quickbooks
This connection has been working. I have re-authorised the connection. I have cleared the cache, tried different browsers, different computers, different internet connections, app and desktop. TSB reports authorisation is granted. Quickbooks reports "Opps there is an error"How do I connect to TSB?
I have had a lot of problems with my quickbooks link to the Co Op bank account. It is still not working properly. I have had to reauthenticate and unlink and link the account again, every time i want to update the records. There has always been some issue. Does anyone else have the same problems ?
So i am fairly new to Quickbooks and when i joined i connected my Coop Business bank account fine. Since this time, over 4 weeks, my account feed will not stay connected. I keep getting the message: Something unexpected happened and we cant connect to The Co-Opertaive Bank. Try again in a few hours (590). I have tried and tried but can not connect again. The only way i have found is disconnecting the account and reconnecting which is a massive pain, and shouldnt be required. Can someone help please. Cheers D
I've just signed up for QuickBooks and am trying to import my Amex transactions. I couldn't see a UK option, so chose the US option, which worked, except it imported all the transactions as dollars rather than sterling. Where do I find the option to change the currency for the account or is there an Amex UK option? I can't find one in the list of banks to connect to.
Is anyone else having problems with their NatWest bank feeds? We haven't been able to connect for a few days now.
I'm having issue yet again reconnecting my HSBC account to QBO. I've tried all the usual suggestions, which never work anyway.I've had three emails from the Intuit servers saying I've now connected to my bank accounts, which I've not because it's failing with an error code of 590? Suggestions of a postcard please.
