The beginning and ending balances are correct when I reconcile with a $0.00 difference. However, in my Bank Register the beginning and ending balances are incorrect and I'm unable to find any transactions that would cause it.
I have amounts that are creating a difference when reconciling. It seems like these are attempts to make corrections and never removed. These items appear on the the Reconciled, Not Reconciled and Cleared filtered reports. How do I clear these items so I can balance the reconciliation?
Good evening, I'm a bookkeeper for a small organization that uses QuickBooks Online. Our company credit card of choice is American Express, we have one of the Delta SkyMile cards that allows you to have multiple employee cards under the main card (which our CEO uses). Up until recently the integration between QBO and AMEX worked perfectly for us: we have a parent account set up and then child accounts for each of the individual cards. The bank feed brings these transactions into QBO on a per card basis so each card would be linked to each child account and everything would be good. In QuickBooks there are accounts we can quickly access for Employee A's transactions, Employee B's transactions, and so on, and the parent account means reconciliation isn't made any more tedious. We recently hired a new employee who received an additional AMEX card. When I try to connect this employee's card to the bank feed, it only gives me the option to bring in the main card which just li

In the LINK ACCOUNT setup for connecting my credit card again, usually there are options to link it to a specific account in my chart of accounts. But it only gives me general options for Credit Card, Checking Account, Savings Account, etc. Then when I select Credit Card it just starts a brand new account instead of linking the existing one.
Up until middle of last month I had my checking account in QBO linked to my institution. The institution changed their name and I lost the account linkage. They recently made it available under the new name and when I link to the bank's site, QBO creates a new account in my chart-of-accounts and does not allow me to select the existing account line. Why? I have even attempted to merge the "new" account line with my existing account line but QBO won't allow it. I don't want to lose my history.
They say under review but aren't available anywhere they seem to have disappeared. No money in my bank or in QuickBooks
I am moving from desktop to online and I was given a walk through by a quickbooks expert yesterday. She disabled the bank feed from one of my accounts by accident... but then did not know how to get it back online. I have tried reconnecting, but the accounts are greyed out since they believe they are already connected. I called my bank and they say it is within the quickbooks software. I have called quickbooks but have not gotten any help to reconnect. I was able to download from my bank and import manually, but I don't want to have to continue doing that.How do I reconnect an account that has been disabled from online banking ? ( easy to do on the desktop... not so easy in the online version!) Thanks

Trying to link existing QB bank account to bank. instead created a new QB bank account. I now want to delete this new account to clean up my error.
Our bank merged into another bank. The bank account that was closed stopped downloading transactions into QB before the account balance was zero. We have entered the final transaction in QB manually to zero out the account but on the BANK BALANCE it still shows a balance (waiting to be pulled in but it will never be since the bank has closed). QB BALANCE is zero. Since QB is correct at this point, should I disconnect the bank account? How long should I keep it active in my chart of accounts? Thanks

There is a problem connecting to my bank. This has been ongoing for 3 weeks now and no one at customer service knows how to help.
Hello!I have transactions I've imported into quickbooks but didn't connect a bank account when doing so. I now want to connect this bank account to my quickbooks account so that I can have future transactions on this account enter my books automatically. Is there a way to facilitate this connection without duplicating the manually imported transactions I've already entered from this same bank account?
Square charges a fee based on how the transaction was made and a percentage of the total amount. This fee is deducted off before the remainder is deposited into my checking account. How do I record these fees?
I last updated banking on 6/1/2021 and I just updated today 5/7/2022 but the the last deposits I see are dated 6/1/2021. Why are some items updating in banking but not others?
I printed a check but entered the bill several weeks later (I entered the bill and due date using the date I printed the check). Now I have two matches on my uploaded bank transactions, one for the the check and one for the bill. How do I reconcile this? Do I need to delete the bill? Could someone please help?
Paypal transferred the balance of the Paypal account into our QBO bank account. It was a lump sum comprised of donations from 20+ donors. Can I now edit that deposit so that all the individual donors and their donations are recognized and assigned to the correct class and category?
My client has three deposits with no corresponding sales receipt or invoice. I have completed Bank Reconciliation till 10/31/2023. I was looking at the summary of reconciliation as of 10/31/2023 and realised that there were 3 deposits dated 4/13/23 - $300.00,05/09/23 - $395.00 and 08/31/23 - $19.05 that has been uncleared. There was Sales Tax on the last one. Can I have the client create individual invoices in November 2023 and have it cleared when I do reconciliation for November 2023.Please help and advise. Thank You.
