Can't connect nowSomething kept us from getting any transactions here right now, and that's all we know. Try again in a few hours. (102)
The card came yesterday. It has a sticker to use the app. There's nowhere in the map to activate it. The online answer says I can activate in the Cashflow menu. Nothing there either.
I recently added Wise as an app within Quickbooks thinking the reconciliation would be easier. We pay USD but our contractors receive them in either INR, PHP, or ZAR. Unfortunately, it started to create these A/P accounts with their currency shown in negative balances. I created a separate account for them to be expensed immediately and not be A/P. Anyone who's had a better luck in recording these transactions? What's your workflow? #wise #transferwise #multicurrency #banking #reconcilingwisetransfers #recordingwisetransfers
We deposited $208,509.36. I recorded the amount against open invoices to reflect the income. The bank recorded the deposit as $205,509.39. I was in conversion when this happened from another software and was behind on my reconciliation. I noticed the error 2 months after the fact. When they corrected the error they only credited $3,000.00. Not only am I in complete shock with the bank, I don't know how to go about reflecting this error in my books. As of now it shows my reconciliation is off by $2999.97. I'm not sure where to journal this error. Maybe a holding account since I will be reflecting the deposit error in a later month? Please help!! Thanks!!

I'd like to disconnect my personal bank account from QB self employed and connect my business one. There are a number of transactions from the old account categorized as business. Will they disappear once I disconnect the old bank account and will I need to re-enter them manually in QB?
When we (a church) released our paid bookkeeper three months ago, the register for our bank account was found to be reconciled; that is, the closing balance of her last reconciliation matched the starting balance of the next bank statement that we received. We have now discovered, however, that before then the bookkeeper had been doing some “creative” work and there was one check, which cleared the bank four months ago, that was omitted entirely from her final reconciliation three months ago. Is there some simple, quick way to correct for that, without having to try and figure out how she managed to reconcile while at the same time omitting a check from the process?
Quickbooks will not update direct connect pin from 4 pin to 5 pin per BB&T online bank requirements
Example downloaded from QB: "Internet Trf Deposit Xfer FR x66 Deposit, Processed" Example from Zoho Books: "Internet Trf Deposit--Xfer FR x6691 TO x1757 xxxx-1757"
I had 3 Chase Credit Cards (mine, plus 2 employees) connected to QBO Banking and everything was working fine for a few months. Recently the connection was lost between QBO and Chase, but when I went to reestablish it I was unable. Quickbooks brought me to a Chase page that had a "Sign In" button, but when I click "Sign In" it just reloads the same page and there is no place to input my username and password (i.e., no way to "sign in"). Anyone else having trouble connecting to Chase, specifically a Chase Southwest Credit Card account? Any work arounds or fixes? I don't want to manually enter my transactions for fear that they will be duplicated when the connection is reestablished.
When I see the account after connecting to my bank, the only two available account types to choose from in the drop down menu are Bank and Credit Card. This is a long term liability account I'm trying to set up.
I have never reconciled my cc account. Can I start now and "ignore" the past entries? AND Does this affect the P&L and or Balance Sheet?
Both the credit card and checking acct used to pay off the credit card are synced w/ QB and the bank feeds are downloaded automatically. When I go to record the transaction to the register - there is an option to "record as transfer" or "record as credit card payment" what is the difference between these two options and which one should I be using?
Within Quickbooks Desktop 2023, can I match an unrecognized bank feed transaction to an invoice previously entered into accounts payable. (the invoice was entered into Accounts payable and then the payment was drafted out of our account) Will this allow me to mark the AP invoice as paid as well as match the bank feed transaction?
We're a new business open for about 7 months. I'm in the process of moving our accounting to Quickbooks online from Freshbooks. So far I've configured the Chart of Accounts and connected our Bank Account successfully. Since Quickbooks only syncs 90 days of bank transactions, I ended up downloading the qbo file from the bank website and manually updated the rest (which was 4 months worth of transactions). We want to make sure we bring over all the records before we pull the final plug. For the Quickbooks balance, we listed the balance we originally deposited upon opening the business bank account. The bank balance has grown since then. The issue is with the warning, "We can’t find this account at your bank." What's the best way to resolve this? There's a bit of a learning curve with Quickbooks so some education is appreciated. Thanks in advance
does it has to be CSV.
I just got started with QuickBooks. I've noticed that only the last 3 months of transactions are showing up in the banking tab and cash flow forecast. I had already removed all the accounts and readded them to make sure that I had chosen the option to pull all transactions for the life of each account and the issue is persisting. Has anyone had this issue?
I connected my checking account to QB Online and transactions from 3/1/23 to present imported. I cannot get a .csv file from the bank for transactions older than 60 days. How do I enter the transactions from the Bank Statements manually into QB Online Plus?
