I have downloaded bank transactions in small QBO files but they won't upload into my quickbooks online file
So i have 2 checking accounts that automatically sync in my QB. my issue is thisi recently made a transfer from one account to the other via a certified check at the bank. there was a fee tacked on from the bank i withdrew from but they didnt record the fee as a separate transaction on my statements so for Example, the withdraw was 12000 but there was a $4 fee so it shows as $12004 on the account. The deposit account has the Transaction for $12000. So the issue is how to i enter these in because i cant just match them because it wont allow that, what is the way to do this so i dont mess everything up. Sorry for the long question, i hope it makes sense. Appreciate any help on thisthanks!
When I entered todays date to download from, it wiped out all the data I had in there and I had to start over.
bank balance and quickbook's are not equal
I recently tried to make a purchase using my online QuickBooks checking account. The item that I wanted to purchase was exactly $597, so I transferred $600 from an envelope into my QB checking account. Then, when I went to check out, I got an error message saying "Card Error - Insufficient Funds." That couldn't have been the case because I had plenty to cover the transaction. I emailed the company's support and they said no money was collected as the transactions were canceled. So I checked my QB's checking account again, only to find out that the $600 I transferred is now missing. I have not one, but two charges of $597 to my account that are "pending." I'm assuming it'll be coming back to my account, right?
Recently changed banks so I disconnected the old feed settings on the existing bank accounts and set up new bank feeds. Old account transactions were downloaded and reconciled beforehand so I am starting fresh. New account feeds worked fine on the first try with new transactions showing up in the Bank Feeds Center. However, the window to review transactions for new accounts will not open not matter what I try. Rebuilding data did not help. Any ideas to fix this are welcome!
I need to change the start date
Does anyone have a suggestion? Everything is up to date on my phone. I also tried downloading the App to my other cell phone, which is an Android . Then when I get the code, I put it in the app and it gives me an error. Something about Invalid_Argument. Any ideas?
This is happening with my accounts and credit card with my main bank, and also with a credit card with a different bank (that one has not updated since 11/12)
I do bookkeeping for several clients. I paid a client's vendor invoice by clicking the pay now button. The money came out of another client's bank account, which is a completely different bank. Has this happened to anyone else? Quickbooks cannot tell me how this happened. I'm very frustrated as I have talked with several specialists with no resolve or even an incident report which I have asked for several times.
Hi there, My client had never reconciled her checking nor credit card accounts in Quickbooks. There are payments to Amex showing in the checking account in error - she paid from a personal account. However, the payments are now reconciled in the Amex account. If I delete the payments from the check register, I will have to re-reconcile Amex back to 2019. I can do that, but wondered if there was a better way - maybe a journal entry? Thank you in advance for your help! MJB
Hello. I know how to void a check from a previous closed period. For example, I had checks from last year that a customer had not cashed. Since the fiscal year is already closed out, I "voided" the check be creating a journal entry and debiting the cash and crediting the expense. I then re-issued the check to the customer. My problem now is that when I go to the customer file, it shows that amount still open because there are two checks created for the same customer. Because I am not voiding the check directly, the customer file looks like I double paid. How do I fix that?
Hi!So I recently uploaded a CV file of American Express Charges into for the past few months however, when I am confirming the transaction it is posting the charge as a Credit Card Payment and NOT a Credit Card Expense. Is there any way to change this when confirming transactions after uploading the CV file? Or did I upload the file incorrectly? I would have to have to go back and manually enter 400 transactions 😞 Thanks!
I have a Quickbooks debit card. The entries were reconciled in the Quickbooks checking, but not in my debit chart of accounts. why is that?
Hi, I am using Quickbooks Pro 2019 My system seems to be in the incorrect period When I do any transaction the correct date is displayed but when I try to save the transaction it says that I am working in a closed period.When I am is bank recons the date at the service charges and interest earned is on 2034 Would you be able to assist me with this matter Thank you
