I'm a bookkeeper, client has two credit cards linked through bank connection. One should be a sub account. QB does not allow me to change it to a subaccount. What can I do besides completely deleting the connected accounts to correct this?
I need to start over with reconciling an account. Can I remove all check marks?

What is the correct procedure for manually entering a credit card payment into my checking account? When a credit card payment shows up in my checking account via automatic download, the type of transaction is Credit Card PMT. If I don't want to wait for the downloaded payment to show up in my checking account and I want to enter it manually there isn't a Credit Card PMT transaction type, only Check, Deposit, Sales Receipt, Receive Payment, Bill Payment, Refund, Expense, Transfer, Journal Entry. What is the correct way to manually enter this type of transaction?
Hello, Our health benefits vendor pulled out the payment for our premium on the wrong day and reversed the transaction. They then took payment on the correct day so I have the information for the accurate bill date and payment date. My problem is that the incorrect date withdrawal and deposit are both showing on my bank statement but I don't have those transactions in QB to check off to reconcile. What is the best way to enter this withdrawal and reversal?

I think Tags are quite useful, but when I'm trying to add tags to a bunch of transactions, either in the bank register or in the Bank Transactions tab while adding scanned receipts, etc., it seems the only way to add a Tag is to save the transaction and open it in the detail view. Several extra steps, especially since in the Register, it takes you back to the top of the page when you return!

Not everything that happens in my bank account is business related and I don’t want every transaction showing up because then it’s delete, delete, delete and I do not have time for that.

I have set up American Express to download in QB, but the charges are being applied in the Profit & Loss based on the month the charge was made. Can this be updated to apply in the month payment was made to the credit card?
I'm setting up a bank feed between my bank and QuickBooks desktop. Everything is ready to be connected but QuickBooks is asking for my QuickBooks pin. I don't remember ever setting one up and payroll is NOT paid through QuickBooks, so the normal method of "I forgot my pin" didn't work. I go to Employees - Payroll - and the option to go into settings and change it is not there because payroll is not paid through QuickBooks. I just need the pin to connect the bank feed, how do I find it?Thanks!
There are some transactions in our QuickBooks online books that have had some edits made by the "system". What does it mean? I didn't make that edit.

I have been downloading credit card transactions for years without a problem. Now, when I go to "import new transactions" and it asks if you want to download to an existing account, the drop down lists only one of my two credit card accounts and it is not the one I want. So, I created a new account and was able to download the transaction list. I entered the transaction to QB but, when I went to reconcile the account, I had to manually go in and transfer all the transactions to the original credit card account. I would like to merge the old account into the new account so that all previous and new data will show in the one account. Will I need to enter all the new transactions into QB prior to merging? If so, what is the procedure for doing so in QB Pro 2020 Desktop?
transaction attachments were downloading from the bank, and now they are not. I can no longer find the setting to make that happen again.

Two invoices showing on the bank reconciliation report that have the reference # To Print? The two invoices have been paid and cleared the bank reconciliation back on the Jan Bank Recon. I have been off on the bank rec for the amount of the two invoices. Why are they showing "To Print" and how do I fix this. The invoices were not posted twice and were only paid once. Please help?
Hello, I am running Quickbooks deskrop pro plus. I recently made 2 deposits for two separate customers. I went to the customer screen --> New Transactions -->Receive Payment filled out the form went to the next and completed the same. Went to the Home screen-->Record Deposits. Instead of running a deposit slip for both deposits, I chose to run one at a time so paperwork for the deposits would be completely separate. I selected the one I wanted to run first, printed the deposit slip, everything was fine. When I went back to run the 2nd deposit slip the deposit was gone. I attempted to add it to the deposit form under the first deposit that had already printed, but i got a warning that Quickbooks can only make a deposit to undeposited funds.So I checked my customer site, the deposit shows there, however does not appear in my register, also it does not show in my deposits for that day.How can I correct my records? I already entered the deposit with a hand written deposit slip.&nb
