Employees and payroll

As of today, I will be looking for a new payroll service. Their fees are already outrageous, and now they're adding a new Per Employee Fee effective Oct 1, 2022. Businesses are struggling, inflation is high, and they find another way to charge us more. $5 per employee per month. Shame on them. I'm out. If anyone has any alternate payroll suggestions, I'm all ears. Thanks
I have a SIMPLE IRA plan for my office. The max annual contribution box for my over 50 year old employee says $15.5K when it should say $19K. This is common knowledge and such info is contained within a table on your own site in the support article "Understand retirement plan contribution limits". I've called twice to get this fixed. What is it going to take to get this fixed? This should be very simple. I need it fixed for this employee so she can contribute the full $19K to her SIMPLE IRA.
I've been trying to log into WorkForce all week to enter my payment information so I can receive my paycheck, but every time I do so I get the error message of "There’s an issue on our end. We’re on it." this has been happening all week every time I attempt to log in. I can sign into TSheets just fine. Is there something I'm missing or something my employer may have to do? I've already attempted it in multiple browsers and in incognito windows.
We started using Quickbooks in 2016 with Quickbooks Desktop. Earlier this year we migrated from Quickbooks Desktop 2020 to Quickbooks Online and then in September of this year we migrated again to Quickbooks Desktop Enterprise. We entered payroll information as a part of the data migration. When I look at the payroll transactions in the Employee Center, for the payroll data that came from QB Desktop 2020 there are two transactions for each paycheck, a line called "Check" which has most of the detail of the check (amount paid for work on particular jobs, various types of withholding and taxes, and a second line (same date) called YTD Adjustment which seems to have that same data but in a different format. I am assuming that is a result of the migration process. For the payroll checks that were done in QB Online, there are 3 lines per payroll check: 1. Check (which has only the net amount of the check, 2. General Journal (which has the payrol
I need to reclassify labor - how do I get QBO to accept negative hours? This labor went in directly through Track Time and is over a year old.
Instead of "Pay Employees" and "Start Scheduled Payroll" (these are what normally appear) on my Pay Employees tab, it shows "Start Unscheduled Payroll" and "Resume Scheduled Payroll". I have not missed a payroll, nor do I have one that is partially completed so I don't know why these options are showing up instead of my normal options. This has been an issue for several weeks. I thought maybe after doing a few payrolls it would reset but it has not. I have changed the settings on my Payroll Schedule to make sure they coincide with the current dates but still did not fix the issue. Any thoughts?
I am new to QB online. We only operate in Indiana, but my Payroll Tax Center keeps telling me Wisconsin reports are due. We had an employee that lived in WI, who terminated 8 years ago.
My email address has changed, but I don't see an option to change it for the payroll notifications.
Hi, I want to add a subcontractor to QBO as per the youtube tutorials I should have an option for payroll and under that, I should have an option for subcontractor. But I can only see an option for employees. Can you help me with that?

We set up the employees per the qb directions, but no contributions we sent. According to the state they should be made automatically through the API connection.
How do I correct an employee's name?
My company uses QuickBooks Desktop. Does QBs charge a fee for emailing pay stubs directly to employees?
How do I verify the paystubs emailed to employees from QB dekstop actually sent? Or, if an employee says they didn't receive their paystub via email, how do I resend? There is nothing in the Sent folder of Outlook.
There are chunks of days missing where miles were not tracked. They're sporadic and don't seem to make sense. QuickBooks customer service said it was due to having my location off or having low battery saver on and I've never had either on.
Working on setting up QBO for the payroll of a rural paid-on-call ambulance service. With this service, EMS personnel are paid an hourly rate to be on-call and available. If there is a 911 call, they get paid an additional flat-rate per call they respond to. These additional earnings get treated the same as hourly earnings for payroll deduction purposes. There will often be zero calls in a day, but some days there could be several - so for for each paycheck they could earn any number of stipends. What is the best way to get these additional earnings added to the paychecks in QBO? Ideally showing the quantity and rate on the paystub, similar to how hourly wages are shown.
An employees paycheck was not included and I need to correct the 941 that was submitted.
When we converted I was able to download the desktop app and it worked great. But we had to change computers and now when I install the file it says I don't have a QBO account, which I clearly do. I can't find the link in QBO to download a new install file if my file is corrupt. Any ideas?
Quickbooks stopped withholding taxes this pay period . It does not withhold Federal, State, Social Security, or Medicare. My Quickbook Payroll subscription renewed in June 2020 so should be good for another 8 months. When I go to Employees -> My Payroll Service -> Account/Billing Information, it says "Intuit QuickBooks Payroll Annual Enhanced - Status Active" at the top. Under Billing Details it says "Renewal Date: June 15, 2021." The pay amount is enough that taxes should be withheld. I am using Quickbooks Desktop Pro 2019.
My angst with QuickBooks continues. My payroll tax payments always used to show up immediately in the check register after I paid them in QuickBooks Online. Today, my Minnesota Withholding and Federal Payroll Tax payments were paid and did not show up in the check register. Makes it very difficult to keep track of my checking account balance. How frustrating! Please help as soon as you can. Thanks, Kevin G
