Employees and payroll

I just found out after receiving a bill from PFML that my rate changes did not save in QBO. I tried changing them AGAIN in QBO and they are not saving. The bills are not high, but they shouldn't exist at all. Please let me know when you have the actual SAVE feature connected so I can fix it for my clients. Thanks folks!
You ask me the category of the product, but you improperly tax it.
I am a business owner in Washington state, but live in Oregon. I'm setting up QB payroll for first time after using third party for payroll the last few years. All of our employees live and work in Washington and I am the only one residing in Oregon. When trying to setup my Oregon state tax info, QB will not allow me to exempt myself from the Oregon Unemployment tax (SUI). It requires that I list a tax rate between .7% - 5.4%. I am able to exempt myself from Washington SUI as I am a corporate officer, but Oregon SUI does not have that option?
I forgot to change the wages on 3 employees before I ran payroll. Can I do another payroll for the amount of their raise before my next scheduled payroll

I'm trying to set up payroll for contractors and I'm having trouble verifying the bank account. Quickbooks sent me an email that they made two small verification deposits into my account. I don't see the deposits. I called and the customer service person was unable to help me. He told me to call my bank and they should be able to tell me the amount of the deposits. I called and they couldn't see any deposits either. I know the bank account is correct because it's the bank account that's already connected to quickbooks for accounting purposes. HELP!
What data does Payroll Elite move from desktop enhanced payroll?
I have changed plans from a dental only plan to one that incudes both dental and vision. I want to adjusts payroll for the employee's 25% contribution. The system has dental but not vision. Should I just combine the two expenses for the payroll deduction?
Has anyone encountered an error when entering an employee's mailing address? I am trying to enter an employee's address and a drop down box appears, but the address isn't listed. When I click save, I receive an error message that the street, city, state and zip code don't match. How can this be fixed?
An employee, who never had a problem getting their direct deposit, did not receive their payroll direct deposit. None of their information has changed. It was deducted from our banking account, it is showing "processed" as a direct deposit under the paycheck list with today's date, August 18, 2023, and their employee portal shows their paycheck and indicates that it was processed as a direct deposit. All information is showing correctly on our end. However, the employee is not showing any pending dollar amount in their account. They called their bank and their bank said it is on the processing end, which is a Quickbooks problem. Please advise.

Hi - I've been having an issue with one of our local tax entities, KC MO. QBO shows three different entries on payroll tax reports, even though there is only one entity. For some reason as of July 1, some of the local taxes for that entity are now showing as needing to be paid weekly, even though they are set up to auto pay quarterly. I have been on the phone for over 30 minutes and can't seem to explain this clearly enough to get assistance. In payroll settings if I delete the new schedule of paying the taxes monthly will that automatically put the funds that have been collected for this in the right payment schedule? Also, how do I get rid of the multiple entries for KC? This impacted employees at the end of 2022 as some of them were told by the city the did not pay enough tax (because the city didn't see the second line on their W2).
I just received an email stating that effective 9/14/23, Intuit will be able to directly engage with QB Time team members to include asking for product feedback, using team data like timesheet info and location and making features and offers directly available to team members. I don't have a problem with them reaching out to me as a business owner and the one paying the subscription, but I really don't appreciate them engaging with my employees during work time and attempting to solicit business from them. I have submitted feedback, however, I don't have much hope anything different will result because of it. Am I wrong to feel this way? So much solicitation already on my QBO page. Now we're engaging with the people I employ. Frustrating!
I need to understand why QBO is generating payroll expense accounts, automatically! The last thing I want is for this "accounting" software to be thinking for me... or my clients.
We just ran our first payroll in qbo payroll core and all were direct deposit but it came up with a list of checks instead. In the bank details on the balance sheet it shows the individual payments but it shows the payment type as Check. Did the dd actually run and are these checks that show just the stubs? Thank you!
What are the pros and cons of including company contributions in the payroll setup for an employee, since they don't impact the net salary of an employee. We've acquired several companies and I've noticed that some include all company contributions (so they show on the paystubs), while others might include only company's 401(k) contribution.

Has anyone else notices that wages don't calculate properly? On any given payroll, an employee may several have worked several jobs and/or travel with or without overtime. I have a spreadsheet to verify what wages should be for each payroll item for each employee. The gross wages for each employee in the spreadsheet are never what QuickBooks has calculated. I've noticed that in QB Desktop, the wages are off by several cents on each line. I then have to delete the wage amount and hours and re-renter them so that the wages are correct. This is time consuming and shouldn't have to happen. Is there a way to get this correct so I don't have to do it manually each payroll and for each employee?
Is QuickBooks down right now?
With the changes Intuit has made to Quickbooks and Quickbooks payroll, I am wondering if you can still purchase the annual payroll subscription for Desktop. I am a payroll professional who has been recently hired for a company to process their payroll. They would like to bring their payroll in house and are using Desktop Pro Plus 2022
An adjustment in the GL so I can just move on and get this completed. I have to run payroll. Thanks!
