I downloaded the payroll update this morning, and began creating Form 941 in both QBs versions 2020 and 2021 for clients who are done with payroll for the quarter. QBs automatically populated line 13f, even though we have nothing in our PR list that would trigger that. Anyone else having issues?
Hello, I asked about setting up e-file for the NM unemployment taxes, and I was then able to send it. It says it sent in Quickbooks, but when I called the NM Workforce center, they did not receive it. I noticed that for two other payroll systems in Quickbooks that you have to assign Quickbooks as a TPA for NM Workforce center. I have desktop payroll enhanced, and I didn't see anything in there for my Quickbooks. Any suggestions? (I sent in the report on Tuesday, and NM Workforce center still does have not seen anything from Quickbooks on their end.) Thanks!

I'm trying to pay a bonus (preferably by a separate check), and the procedure tells me to select "Unscheduled Payroll." The problem is, I do not have that button. I've watched the videos and looked at images, and they all have the button. I'm using QB Premier Plus Non-Profit 2018 edition. Any help would be appreciated.
We are using Paycom to do our payroll and need to import an IIF file to record the transaction. The problem arises because I also need to import the service Items associated. I understand the Journal Entry template doesn't allow for a service Item to be imported but I have seen a screenshot showing that it's possible. It seems to import it on the back end so you can see it in the transaction journal. Has anyone successfully imported an IFF for a journal entry with ITEM column? Using QB Enterprise
I need to refund a payroll deduction (pre-tax 401k) made in error for $167.52. The refund is subject to IRS payroll tax (7.65% for the employee and 7.65% for the employer) therefore the end result is a payroll check that looks like: Gross pay/taxable reimbursement $167.52Employee taxes:$10.39 social security$2.43 medicareNet pay $154.70Employer taxes:$10.39 social security$2.43 medicare I've discussed this for an hour with a Quickbooks payroll chat assistant, see the VERY unhelpful discussion below. Then I discussed it with a Quickbooks expert over the phone, who wanted to help and was kind but had no answer for me, as if Quickbooks online just doesn't have a way to do this?!?! How could this be?
I am unable to run payroll for one employee. I can process payroll for all the rest of the staff, but I am unable to pay our pastor. He has been paid many times before, but now QB does nothing when I click on "Create Paychecks." I have called three times and talked to payroll representatives for over 90 minutes each call and still, the issue remains. I was told the back-end team would get back to me in 5-7 days, but it has been two weeks and I haven't heard anything. How do I get ahold of the back-end team or someone who is able to help? When I use the "Contact Us" option, it does not connect me with anyone who has the knowledge or expertise to fix this issue. Thank you,Sarah
Does anyone know why "Holidays" do not transfer from TotalPass to Quickbooks? I have to manually enter all holidays into Quickbooks after importing from the TotalPass clock.
I am trying to tally up my mileage for each business that I have? Currently, I have my windshield repair business but I also make deliveries on the side. I'd like to run a report on each business, particularly my windshield business since thats the primary business associated with my OQB.

I am attempting to file my 941 in Quickbooks Desktop version. I keep getting this error:Form 941: Employer Identification Number - Form 941 is a draft form and is not to be filed with the IRS. Final form will be available in a later release. I have run update twice and still does it. What's going on?

2022 update and now employees with iPhone's get the paystub as a winmail.dat file and can't open their paystub, why isn't it coming in as a pdf?
Hello! I have an extra physical copy of Quickbooks Desktop Premier Plus 2021 with Payroll Enhanced included. I am currently running Desktop Pro 2020 with Payroll Enhanced. I don't want to install the Premier Plus 2021. Can I use the Payroll Enhanced from the Premium 2021 to extend my Payroll Enhanced on the Desktop Pro 2020? It is expiring soon and I would hate to see it go to waste...
