I struggle with this every year. I thought I had it figured out this year but I am still having a problem. My employee uses our company car for personal use on occasion. Therefore, I have to add this to his last check as a fringe benefit. I have followed the instructions for creating "Personal Use of Company Car (PUCC)" I have created this payroll item and added to the Other Payroll Items section of his paycheck. This allowed the SS/Medicare taxes to be paid for the benefit. When I run my 940 it is showing the total exempt benefit with this amount included. BUT, on the worksheet under the "Specify Any Exempt Payments" section it shows that QB has determined I have $8865.10 in exempt payments. This is the correct amount. But where it separates the amount into categories, it shows Fringe Benefits is $815.77 and Retirement/Pension is $5290.27. The retirement/pension amount is correct but the fringe benefit amount is short by $2759
We allow folks to cash out PTO hours but when I try to do it for a salary person it reflects 0$

Back when I was with Intuit Payroll, I could see a copy of my 941 filing every quarter. I don't see it here on QBO. How do I see what QBO sent to the IRS?
I am a Nevada based company... but the new software keeps asking me about California Taxes that I don't pay why?
I work for a church and we are exempt from state unemployment. I need to set up the WA Cares rate but it is done through WA-unemployment rate in payroll. How do I get around this?
Why are they different?
We changed our labor price, now it is marked taxable instead of nontaxable.
Correct pay check data for last year
Somehow QuickBooks Online continues to change the Description of our Southwestern Electric payments to Southwest Airlines. I cannot figure out how to resolve this issue.
Can you file quarterly tax report through intuit quickbooks online?
The payroll company we are using now told me that the new company would give me a journal entry, but that's not for another week or so. So I'm not sure if they will give me the info needed or if I enter it myself.

It worked without any issues for years, but now Intuit shows a connection error every time I log in, and even after providing my credentials and seeing it as connected, the transactions do not transfer to Intuit. Is anybody working with this institution without any problems?
Manually created W-2
I mistakenly setup an employee for the wrong state for unemployment insurance. I realized this when filing my quarterly reports. I performed a payroll liability adjustment decreasing the wage base, income subject to tax, and amount for the wrong state and increasing the wage base, income subject to tax, and amount for the correct state. After my adjustments the Payroll Detail Review report shows the correct amounts as do the tax forms. However, when I run a payroll checkup, it shows an error for this employee and creates additional payroll liability adjustments putting the amounts back to the incorrect state. What am I doing wrong?
I started the bonus but then canceled it and did it again from scratch. Payroll paid my employee a bouns on two separate pay periods.
My 2021 W-2, 1099 and 4th quarter payroll tax returns all include my monthly payroll from January 1st, 2022. Anyone else seeing this?
