I spoke with a QBS Assistant that deleted the PR Taxes to be deposited but I still have thechecks to be voided in the list of checks
We have employees who receive both hourly and commission based pay. Currently the employees send me an Excel spreadsheet of their hours and any commission-based pay that are listed separately. Is there a way to set up QuickBooks Time so that they can do this themselves through that program/app?

I had an employee ask me why her federal taxes were withheld at a different rate on her last paycheck as compared to the prior one. I am not able to answer her because I am not able to figure out myself how QuickBooks is calculating the federal tax withholding. Is anyone able to reproduce the tax withholding calculation using a spreadsheet or similar?
I am getting ready to process my first QB payroll. When I first setup payroll, I did not select that previous withholding were done. How do I change it now? That tab is not visible..
I am setting up payroll for the first time and I am running into an issue of exempting an employee from SDI. The owner's wife (who is co-owner) is on payroll and exempt from SDI. When I attempt to un-check the SDI box in State taxes, the box is grayed out and I cannot find a way around that block.Any ideas are appreciated!
I withheld Occupation Tax from an employee, that I should not have. It was not submitted to the Agency. How do I return the money to the employee and wipe it off the records? I have no other employees in that Municipality.
When attempting to complete the mandatory payroll info update, I log in but QB tells me I am not Primary Admin. I'm the only user so I don't know what to do.
I went to do scheduled payroll this week and the dates showed 6/11 instead of 6/18. When I clicked on it I got a message saying I already had checks dated for the 11th. So I continued and changed the pay period and check date to 6/18. Once completed, it now says my next scheduled payroll should be 6/18 when it should be 6/25. I have not skipped a week of payroll or done anything I can think of that would have caused it to get off track. All the previous payroll checks have the correct pay period. Does anyone know how to fix this? I have upgraded for 2018 Desktop to 2021 Desktop 3 weeks ago.
How do I see the paycheck of a contractor?
I have set up most of the Chart of Accounts but seem to have issues sending invoices to QB to be automatically tracked to specific accounts based on service/product income, taxes, etc. Currently manually split revenue into various line items/accounts when being paid for Invoices.
We have a new employee starting in Texas and our company is registered in MN. I did received TWC Unemployement ID. Not sure how to differentiate it on quickbooks payroll?

Hello, I work at a company that has a time sheet program that produces a IIF file for time sheet imports into QuickBooks Desktop.We would like to know how to do this in QuickBooks Online. Other articles i have read say i need an app or third party tool to do a time sheet import. How can we create a time sheet import file and how do we import it?
Looking for a way to run a monthly 941 reports instead of quarterly? For businesses that need to pay their federal taxes monthly. Right now I am having to run the regular quarterly report and manually break it down by month. Would this be somewhere in the employee payroll?To elaborate this would be a report for the total taxes as well as the breakdowns for social security, medicare etc. that are taken out of paychecks each month. For the QB desktop 2019 version. Thank you.
Phone support for desktop payroll ended? My q3 CA DE9 shows zero ee's for july 2021. there were about 20 . the 2nd and 3rd months are correct. The register shows the July checks. What is wrong?

I had to cancel my QBO company account and start a new account. The payroll services for the cancelled account did not get moved over to the new company account. I've had several calls/chats with customer support but the reps fail to understand the issue and I can't get it escalated.
