I need to inactivate an employee but only have the option in the drop down of terminate. If I choose terminate will I lose their prior payroll data?
i have an employee that started work on 6/29. He is being paid a salary weekly. I calculated his yearly pay but i want to do payroll this Friday. How do i pay him for only working 4 days this week?
My send payroll option is gone. I searched for it and QB is showing "This operation is not available because a QuickBooks feature, known to me as "CDS_Payroll.CloudV2OrAssistedOrDD", is not available. Will that become available again?

Please help. I just added QB online so I can have employees and do payroll. However when I click add employee, type the first and last name in the field and press SAVE I get an error message. I’ve searched and searched but can find no answer for this. Anyone know what to do? ReferenceError: Can’t find variable: isEmpty

Rather than wait until the final paycheck when the employee leaves the company, we'd like to pay some of his accrued vacation pay now. I can't find how to do that on QB payroll online.
Hello! Does Quickbooks take out payroll taxes weekly? I have called Quickbooks a few times and the answer they give me they don't sound confident in.
We are assigning CLASS to individual pay items on employees' paychecks to track which office the work was done for. (Employees work out of two different offices.) Is there a report we can pull to capture the total wages paid for the classed pay items only?
I am using QB desktop for Mac and the QB payroll online. I can not find the place to change work locations.
