I have multiple employees set up under our company SIMPLE IRA, all of which are set up as a percentage of gross pay. When calculating the SIMPLE IRA amounts on the paychecks, it's calculating them on the gross pay AFTER taking out other pre-tax deductions (medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance), etc. It should be calculating it as a total of the original gross pay BEFORE any other pre-tax amounts come out. How do I fix this?

Hi,One person owns two companies which are A LLC and B LLC. Company A pays the other company's employee wages (contract labors).How should I categorize this payment for the company A? Or should I write off a loan for the company B?
I updated the direct deposit bank account it is drafted from. That is completed, however the payroll still post to the old account in quickbooks. Any solution for this?
My minor child is homeschooled, but I bring him to work with me so he can learn that trade as a part of his curriculum for the school. He gets compensated for the time and helps he gives on some of my jobs. Do I need to list him as an employee and select him to be exempt from SS taxes? Or can I just list his expense as a "commission".
What the title says. I got an error message that stated:"You cannot create a check for *** *** on 05/15/2024 because you have already made xxtax payments for the quarter. Please enter a check date in the next quarter."I tried contacting chat but it keeps me in limbo. After I wait in the chat for 10+ minutes with no status update, suddenly my messages are "not sent" when I click on send.

QB payroll setup trying to setup payroll, even though my payroll is already setup, has been for years. Anyone have this? Should I run through the setup process to close out? I need to access payroll setup to send new employees link for onboarding.
One of the Quickbooks experts created the adjustment check in error. It has not processed yet but it is effecting the payroll that I need to run today.
I was able with Quickbooks help to find 940 and 941 perviously filed so I could print. I can not remember steps to find. It was somewhere under users and public. But I don't remember how to get to it. I also need to find and print w3. all for 4quarter of 2023

I have a customer who moved to QBO online in January 2024. They are also still subscribed to QB Enterprise and using the 2021 Desktop version *solely* for historical data access -- they do not update their old company file in any way; all new data goes into QBO. They also used QB Payroll Enhanced until January 2024. They moved to ** All of the above changes were mandated by their corporate parent. Moving to any other platform, Intuit or otherwise, is not an option. ** The Enterprise subscription expires in 2 weeks. I understand they still need to maintain their QB Enterprise subscription for accessing the company file. My question is: Do they need to also maintain the Enhanced Payroll subscription (Gold) to access historical payroll information? Or can they just subscribe to Silver and still have access to the payroll data?
