Employees and Payroll

I don't use accrual but am wondering if I should? Every year I've had to put C some weird high number in to get the employees A/entitlement back to say 20 days for a perm full time member of staff. How do I do this?
When I create a dimensions it asks me to 'link' values. I do not know what 'values' do?

I've just realised that ive copleted payroll for the last weeks pay period dates (which should be due this week). I now cant run payroll due to this for this week.
Hi thereI have recently added my wife to the business as I am expanding and need help with book keeping etc. She's only working a few hours a week which is great. She has another full time job, earning £30k per year and pays NI and tax at the usual rate. I have added all this info into QBO, within her payroll profile. But when I run payroll, and look at a draft payslip - there is NO NI contributions showing, and the tax rate is 50%. Her salary is £6k per year so £500 per month. Her gross shows £500 but here net is £250 - no NI showing and a reduction of half. This cannot be right. I have asked my accountant who is not able to assist - she suggested I reach out to QBO.Can you please help?Thank youChrisP
I can record full days absent for sickness but not half days. Running the payroll and the employee has a day and a half of SSP. But it only allows me to record full days.
Ran the payroll for December on 16 December, only just noticed an error. Two employees, one of the two payslips is absolutely fine. The other: gross pay £3,090 (same as previous month) but pension contributions show as £102.80 & £77.10 rather than the correct figures of £123.60 & £92.70. The 5% and 3% figures are correctly in the set up, nothing has changed from November when QB calculated the correct amounts. Have just tried running January's payroll and that is generating the incorrect amounts also. Any suggestions as to what's gone wrong? Only just noticed it when checking the NEST contributions were correct. Help appreciated.
The employee has not yet returned to work, but using accrued holiday leave to cover a month's wages normally due.
Hi,I have tried doing the P32 & EPS Reports this week but the 2023-2024 tax year has completely vanished.I spoke to an advisor who has opened a case but I really need to submit the EPS to HMRC. the advisor said he has had another call on this. Anyone else had this and rectified? Thanks
I cannot see Monthly Schedule under "Overview". How do I process payroll for April 2024?
It seems that the only thing I can do now postponement is finished is move the toggle switch to enrol the employee in to a pension, although he earns under £10,000 per year. There seems to be some guidance on the Help pages about rerunning the payroll to correct the category. I'm new to QuickBooks payroll and am very reluctant to do this. What can I do?
I have two directors for whom NI has not been deducted (Neither EE nor ER) deducted in Month 1 2024. Is this something to do with the rules for Directors NI, does anyone know please?
have changed password, tried using text codeI can get on laptop but not mobile
BOOK ONBOARD SESSION
I want to reset my account, figures don't match up, bank feeds don't work ect but all I read is just cancel the account and open a new one. Well that is all good but I need to keep payroll active. An alternative to QB might be needed as QB help is nonexistent.

Is there a solution to run a CIS report for the whole financial year, that details subcontractors monthly totals on one report?
We are running QBOAP and are about to do our first pay run for employees having moved from Sage. This means all employees have their annual leave for the year accruing on April's pay run. We also have a leaver on this pay run, who has taken more leave so far this year than they will be entitled to once the pro-rata amount is calculated (e.g. for the year they would be entitled to 22.5 days; from 1st Jan to 30th April the pro-rata is therefore 7.5 days allowance, but they have taken 8.5 days). What do we need to do in order to have the pay run calculate all of this correctly? We are happy to find workarounds if it can't be done smoothly by the system - e.g. we can set their leave allowance for the year as 7.5 instead of 22.5, or we can tweak allowances through the Actions button on their record in the pay run. As it is our first pay run on QBOAP we are expecting teething issues, we just weren't expecting a leaver who has taken more leave than they are entitled to, at
