I've tried help, and chat which is a robot that gives me the same list of "non-helpful" answers over and over again. I tried email xxxxxxxxxxxxxx@xxxxxx.xxx and was responded to with an auto email saying that I had to click a link for a help service which took me to a screen that says I should click the help button when I need help. Obviously the first thing I did hours ago was click the help button! The help button just starts the whole process over again. I know that Quickbooks has to close at night but if there is anyone who knows of an email address where a human may answer me during business hours. Even days later I would be over-joyed! TY.
Good morning.Does anyone have any experience with this scenario?I have the most recent updated version of QB desktop and Excel 4.0.We have set up Positive Pay with our bank. The bank requires the file format to be imported to be a comma delimited file, which I think is the .csv file format.I can create the QB check report, export it to excel in the .csv file format.In excel I have to edit the date format to a custom mmddyyyy, which I can do, and remove the negative sign in the amount column. All done, then when I try to save, I get a message to let me know I can't save it in the .csv file format, I need to choose a macro-enabled file type. If I select save anyway, my changes are not saved.I have gone round and round.I am not an Excel user, much less skilled enough to figure this out.So, can anyone help me?Thanks.Cindy
Is anyone else having difficulty contacting Quickbooks. It says to call back during business hours. It's 0850 am? There hours are at 6am.
Yesterday the search function was simple, today there are now lots of boxes to complete and the view is in those harsh boxes. I'd like to change it back - how do I do this?

I have a mess with an inherited COA with very little history. QB in its entirety was never used correctly. Nothing has been entered for 2024 and I’m trying to get a clean start. Can I “make inactive” most of current Accounts and then create and upload a new file. From there I can merge the few duplicates and make whatever cleanup is needed to get back on track.
A number of my journal entries have a final line item that is just an empty row with a $0 value. These seem to have appeared automatically. If I try to delete the line it just reappears every time. I wouldn't particularly care about this, but we are working on integrating Quickbooks with some custom software we use, and these lines are creating problems for that integration. Has anyone else had this issue? Has anyone been able to solve it?
I have a query regarding customer payments received via PayPal. Although this payment includes a PayPal fee, it is processed as a single transaction. However, QuickBooks splits it into two transactions: the net amount and the PayPal fee. Please guide me on how to address this issue.
I have 21 recurring invoices that go out each month. For some reason, 10 of them did not include sales tax this month. Odd .......... Do you have any idea what might cause this?

I've read the article on recording unkind donations in QBO which has you create a sales receipt and a matching bill. While this vaguely answers my question I'm wondering. 1. Is this the best practice for tracking inkind donations?2. What additional steps need to be taken when the amount received from a donation sale is less than the fair market value. To be more specific our organization got inkind art donations from various artists for a silent auction. Each artist proved a fair market value amount for their work. None of the work brought FMB price but I need to know how to document the amount that was received.
I want to filter the "Sales by item detail" report so that only items from a specific vendor are included on the report. Here's what I have done to create this report:Customize ReportFilters --> Select the "Preferred Vendor" from the list of fields presentedUse the dropdown and select the desired vendor from the listRun the reportThe report runs but ALL items are displayed; it is NOT filtered by the vendor I included in the filter. I have verified that the selected Preferred Vendor is included in the item records that I want. Why isn't this working as expected?
One of my 10 quickbooks online that I cannot create the connection to my chase bank. I got error 590. Opened more than 7 cases with quickbook. Got response that issue solved. But it is not. Desperately need help.
Sometime last week, the camera view on the Receipt Snap function on the Quickbooks Mobile App stopped automatically identifying documents and cropping them with the green box when scanning. I don't want to manually crop all my receipts. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, refreshed data in the app, and power cycled my phone. Any ideas/updates?
I use the pledge function to invoice.When the pledge is paid, I mark it as such and it goes to a holding account for deposit.When a deposit is made that has the payment of this pledge included, the pledge is marked for deposit at that time.This is working for me "most of the time" . . .I have 4 pledges that have been paid and deposited, but still show as only paid. How can I mark them as deposited without having to actually deposit them within QuickBooks?

The new search update in QBs online is missing the part I use the most. I can no longer look up anything by what I enter in the "description" box when entering invoices/checks/etc. Is there a work around? I really need this.
I have a shop where I sell antique clocks. I have many clocks that I previously acquired, some many years ago. How can I enter these in my inventory when I have no purchase records for them, and show that they had some cost initially so the sale isn't considered to be all profit?
