Can I go back earlier and get transactions to now
Quickbooks tried to migrate me over to the new layout format and I called to beg to be switched back to the classic format, and they did... for awhile... but now I've been switched back to the new layout and it's killing me. I'm a contractor so I need to edit my invoices constantly. My customers are always adding work or making changes throughout the course of a job and so I always need to edit the line items. I also tend to be doing most of my estimates and invoices on the mobile app version on my phone because I'm usually in the field on job sites. The new layout does allow editing, however it keeps the item descriptions fully expanded. For me, my line items are like 3-6 paragraphs long because they describe contract work and have to be very specific. Without the ability to collapse the line items in the editing window it becomes this huge long scrolling adventure that drives me nuts. Some time during the last quarter of the year, the backup, for my company, file started having failures.I determined that I had to have the file closed in order for the backup to be successful; that didn't use to be the case. I started trying to remember to close my QB Desktop until I could have more time to troubleshoot it. I haven't remembered very well and therefore, I am lucky to capture a backup once a week.I figured that today was the day to work on it.I looked through the forum and couldn't find an answer that fit my situation so I called support.The guy that took my call said that it's not broken, "you have to close your company file now a days. It's a rule." Now I'm asking the community... "Really??? I've got to close my file every time I get off my computer just in case I don't ever return to my desk for the rest of the day?" I'm off and on my computer throughout the day but mostly I'm not on it because I have work to do in my shop. Thank you for your time 
Downloaded 2021 Desktop Premier Non Profit onto computer that already had 2016 on it. QB wanted to update old system onto new. We declined but our 2016 program completely disappeared. Any ideas?
Hello. I am trying to figure out why my inventory is not noted correctly when I invoice from sales orders. I ordered 72 items. All items are were in stock and available. However, when I invoiced the SO only 69 were recorded and invoiced. When I looked at the SO, it showed the item as being ordered but not available, which I did not notice at the time. I went back and checked the stock and there were over 300 of that particular item available. So the customer was given 3 free because the invoice did not show that the 3 were unavailable. This has happened a few times in the past as well but it's so infrequent that I can't figure out any kind of pattern. Any help would be appreciated.

Can I remove "Undeposited Funds" from Chart of Accounts. When Card payment is made can I not just let it go straight into Checking in QB and into my bank??
This is a question for Desktop Pro 2023 Is there a way to show page numbers on invoices? We have invoices that are multiple pages. It would be nice if there was a Page x of x on each page. I've checked Basic Customization and Layout Designer, but can't seem to find that option. Hoping someone else has found a workaround.Thanks
Hi all: We have an issue with a QuickBooks Online file that could not be copied or backed up.The file goes back to end of 2015, it has 144k transactions and 296k transaction lines.The account is Advanced. I first tried exportqbodatatoqbdt to downgrade to Desktop, which is our original ultimate goal.And I keep getting this error: "Sorry, but something went wrong on ... when you requested that a company file be created for downloading. Please click Start Over to try again." exportmybooks said: "Unfortunately, the conversion did not succeed because the company file data is too large for export out of QuickBooks Online for the chosen start date of 2015-01-01" The QBO Copy feature did not work either. I need to be able to search a field on our invoices and it does not show up as an option in the advanced search list. I renamed the "S.O. No" field as "DELIVERY TICKET" and need to be able to search for those numbers. As it is, I can find no option to do that. If that is not an option at all, then I need a solution to be able to search for those numbers
Hello,I'm seeking help with batch invoicing using QBO Advanced. I want to bill 200 school customers for several different products and quantities based on student enrollment for each school. Not all schools would be billed for the same products or quantities. I'm assuming I'll need to create/import a spreadsheet and am looking for advice on how best to accomplish this as painlessly as possible:) Thank you for any help!

The forms were autogenerated by QB with the same information I have used each year when I file 1099-NEC forms. Nothing has changed, I verified the information before sending, so I should not be receiving a rejection. There was a problem with the platform as mentioned by other users regarding the "void" button. Is anyone else experiencing multiple rejections when you KNOW the information is correct?
