Quickbooks Online Is anyone having trouble getting in to QBO? I've been trying for 2 days and get the same message " Something went wrong. We are working on it". I've cleared the cache, but nothing is working. Marcia
I love Quick books and have been a user since 1999! I currently have 2 Mac Book Pros. My old 2013 MAC had High Sierra OS and I had my QB 2015 on it. I backed everything up on an Toshiba external Hard Drive. I updated to Big Sur 11.7.10. I did get an alert about 2 programs that needed updated, but I don't use them so didn't worry about them. I got nothing about QB and YES, I should have known better and thought about this. Now, I can't pull anything up from QB. I have a newer MAC book Pro that I have recently updated to Sonoma 14.2.1 and has never had QB on it. While I was originally fine with keeping the QB on a separate MAC, since this didn't work immediately with my OS upgrade, I prefer to put QB on my newer MAC. Unfortunately I can't get into my external to pull up QB --Which is most likely user error since Ive never done this before and I am not computer savy for this kind of stuff and Im just afraid of "trying" things on my own for fear
After Step 2 - Review recipients for 1099s, I hit Next and get an error message "something went wrong. Please try later." I don't know what this message means or how to fix it.
HelloI use credit cards for the majority of my costs. I import the credit card transactions, with 2 Class splits: Company 1 and Company 2. 85% of the transactions are for Company 1. How can I set up Quickbooks online to classify all under company 1 so I only have to edit 15% of the transactions. I have been unable to find a relevant article or anything dated since 2019.
Hi.I am cleaning up the year-end 2023. I changed the account category on some credit card transactions and now they show up as credits in the new account. For example: the original cc transaction was posted to Auto Repairs. I changed it to Auto Accident Repairs. Now, the credit card reconciliation is off. I went through the audit history and saw the new account amount as a credit. So, I went and voided that transaction, but it voided the original as well. So, I am completely stumped on this one!! I can't continue with voiding since it's making it worse. I don't understand how changing the account category would cause this much trouble. Please help. Thanks,Roberta
I need to change accounts chosen after I create and file the first set. Is it possible to go back and create an additional set before I e file the first set and then e file both sets together?

This is a question about the 1099 forms we completed in our QuickBooks. When I finished preparing them, it said "mailed," but 1. Don't I mail Copy B to the recipient myself and 2) Am I supposed to mail a copy to the IRS or does QuickBooks send the 1099's in for me?
I already clicked file before setting the correct printing style. now it stays the same format no matter how many times I try again.
Contractor not listed for 1099
They both definitely have enough pay for 2023. It's not showing anything in the "tracked for 1099" section and I checked both of their vendor profiles and they both say "tracked for 1099"
I am new to QB Online but have been using QB Manufacturing Desktop for some time now. I am beginning the process of importing my customers and vendors to Online. Am I missing something, QBO does not allow you to import the Payment Terms or Shipping Data from your desktop CSV file? It appears I have to enter this information manually. When I go to Import Vendors or Customers QBO gives you 15 different fields that you can pull data from your CSV file. If I use the Manual entry of a Customer or Vendor there are 30 different fields that you can input data. Correct me if I am wrong, but it looks like I am going to have to manually enter a lot of data for my 200 customers and 400 vendors?
Hi 4gal,thanks for your reply. I am using the 2024 version of QB Pro and I do have all my license info, etc but when I try to reset the password it tells me my info doesn't match theirs but it's all correct so it should. and I don't even know how to properly reply to you so hope this works!
How do I assign a PO# to a job to just use that number for all transactions?
My client cannot get the new layout experience and has lost the ability to send out estimates with the approve/decline button. We have cleared cache and cookies. Have disabled unsupported features and even upgraded to Plus Online. Nothing is working. QB support only says they are still rolling it out. How long is this going to take. Not efficient for running a business in this day and age. I have researched all avenues on the web with no solution.
quickbooks only has EIN format on the 1099. I file use SSN format. What can I do?
I dont care about the deal. Totally willing to pay full price but I can not get it to work

I have a portable, bluetooth card reader and Quickbooks online. Is there any way to use the chip or swipe card reader directly from my PC? Currently I have to create the sale on the PC then open up the Go Payment app on my phone to take the payment. I realize I can create the sale on the app too but it's easier on the PC! If I can't use the portable reader, what are my options?
My quickbooks 2020 desktop crashed and now I can’t sign in using the password I have. I called and they said it’s no longer supported and they could not give me my license or new password. Is there a way to sign in and recover all my data? If not can I get a free trial of desktop 2020 or a cheap version? I only use the program for invoicing but I need all my patient records!!thank you
Is there a way to add a description of a quantity on my estimates and invoices? Such as "Hours" or "Square feet?
I recently switched from QB Desktop to Online. The invoices that transferred over are showing a "Ship Date" that will not go away even when I turn shipping info off. We duplicate most of our invoices as our services remain the same from year to year for each customer. If we duplicate the old invoices the "ship date" still remains in the invoice. Is there any way to remove this ship date without have to create new invoices for each existing customer? We never had a "ship date" on the old invoiced in Desktop and I cannot understand why it is showing up now in the Online version.
We upgraded to advanced and want to add our employees to our account. The technicians need to be able to create invoices but I do not want them to see our financial information on dashboard. I see option to turn privacy view on but they can toggle it. Is there a way as administrator I can turn privacy on and keep them from turning it off? I want them to make invoices but not see how many invoices we have awaiting payment, late, or sent etc
