Hello everyone, I'm trying to get a subscription going for the mobile app and it's giving me issues. I signed up for the monthly one and paid yesterday, but the app still thinks that the trial I used a while ago has expired and wants a subscription.

When I try to email a purchase order, it comes back with network connection failure. The thing is, I'm on the network, because it's Enterprise, with remote network connections. It has always worked in the past, and even worked this morning once. Any ideas?
We are setting up products and services for tracking inventory. We set up an item with a purchase cost and a sale price. Why aren't those numbers reflecting on the home screen for the products and services? On that page, the price and cost are the same, whereas when you open the product, the price is one number and the cost is a different one. Thanks!
I've e-filed my 1099's and I can see the PDF copy of the Fed copy. How do I go about printing copies C & B?

When you change an account number in the Chart of Accounts, does it make all historical entries to the old account number show up as if they were made to the new account number? How does Quickbooks handle job costing? Does it track jobs by job number? Are there limitations as to the job number format? i.e., could we use job number 10-XXXX to represent job number XXXX which is a job assigned to our specific location #10? How do costs get applied to a specific job? Payroll- Does the system require a payroll module in order to fully apply proper payroll to specific jobs?- Can costs be applied directly to jobs through general journal entry? Purchasing- Same question regarding application through journal entry- Are job costs applied at the time of P.O. through purchases journal or some other way?
Hi, I have made a custom role for one of my employees but am running into an issue. I don't want her to have access to the P&L's and Balance Sheet, but I do want her to have access to the Standard Bank Deposits. I've attached some screenshots below as to her permissions.
Does Quickbooks Essentials file 1099 with IRS or do I have to file manually. It is already completed and ready to go.
I have called the "experts" twice. No solution yet. Can´t file the 1099 via efile without getting this error message. Tried several browers.
Hello all, Our company is looking at transitioning from a public company to a privately-held company. Has anyone out there gone through this process and can you recommend a checklist of all the steps that need to be taken to carry this out? TYIA.
I am currently facing an issue with my vendor and customer list. The problem lies in the fact that the final amount of my unpaid bills and aging summary does not match my vendor balance summary. I have deducted some amounts, and while these funds are no longer reflected in the unpaid bills and aging reports, they still seem to be affecting my vendor balance summary. I have attached a printout of the reports for your reference. Could you please assist me in resolving this matter? Thank you.
Hey all, I'm looking for some clean suggestions on how to best keep track of Credit Card payments and interest for my client in QBO. Here's the situation. The client makes a credit card payment which is through their same bank and the bank allows them to pay by transferring money from an account to the credit card. They make a transfer and at times it shows up in QBO that the amount transferred is the difference after the interest charge has been applied. When this happens I tend to do a split transaction reflecting, for simplicity's sake, $150 to the card and $50 to interest. However, some times the bank applies the full amount, say for simplicity's sake again, $200 and there is a separate charge for the interest that appears on the bank statement. Some times, I see it reports to QBO that the $150 is applied and there is no sight of the interest, so I again do a split transaction. Then the bank statement show's that there was a $200 payment and a separate charge for
The error says "PAYMENT CAN'T BE SCHEDULED. WE CAN'T SCHEDULE THIS PAYMENT RIGHT NOW."
I damaged 3 checks before I printed them and am unable to use them. How do I document these missing checks in quickbooks. I can not simply void them, because I had not used them yet.
Only happens with one employee, not all. When I update tax WH info and click "save", it scrolls back to top and gives me that message, inside box with red outline. Have tried multiple times over the past year.
Hi all, I am trying to figure out if we can sync data between QBO and our external data source via a single data point between the two being a Customer ID number. When our members sign up, purchase products, or update their account details via the website, I would like it if QBO would pull through and update the new info via an API. Monitoring and editing two datasets is time consuming. Is this possible? Thank you for any insight you can provide. David
Specifically, replacing a 1099 NEC form already filed with a 1099 Misc. form
I'm setting up QuickBooks for a company that's been operating since January 2023. They've been using a personal checking account for personal and business income/expenses. Can I connect the bank account to upload to quickbooks and only select the business income and expenses in the banking section? My concern was that I wouldn't be able to reconcile the account since all of the transactions wouldn't be added to QuickBooks. -ThanksOr should I enter all transactions and categorize everything not business related to a particular account?
We are setting up a Shopify website to sell our products and services. We us QBO for our invoicing. I am wondering how one might connect the two so that when a customer makes a purchase on the website, that customer and transaction are automatically synced with QBO and could be invoiced from QBO. Also, is it possible then to just run the payment through QBO rather than immediately via Shopify?
How can I get a record of who accepted an emailed estimate? Capturing the same name and date I could enter manually plus IP would be ideal.
