Hi Team, How can we arrange accounts in the balance sheet and p/l report? Example, my cash on hand is classified as Other current asset and it is showing now in the bottom of the current assets, I want to show it as the first account shown in current asset. I don't want to classify it as Bank type as it would appear as savings account where as it is just a petty cash. Please help. Thanks in advance.
Looking to migrate from Quickbooks Desktop to Quickbooks Online and saw that there are no Memorized Transactions in the online version, but there are Recurring Transactions which appear to have similar functionality. When exporting the company file from the desktop version and importing that file to the online version, do the memorized transactions become recurring transactions or is there a way to ensure this happens? Attempting to manually recreate all these as recurring transactions would be a nightmare.
Error message when trying to "create expense" from a receipt.
I’m using import to upload inventory. I’m discovering that commas in certain fields (eg cost formatted as $1,100) cause the data to be corrupted. This is the case if I choose to import either via Google Sheets or via CSV. Please help
We manage several companies/entities, we are in the process of moving from QB Desktop Premier to QB Online. We have six properties that are separate entities/companies in QB Desktop Premier and we would like to move them underneath another company, each as a separate CLASS. I have been trying to find out how to import QB Desktop company data into a CLASS, I have talked to several Customer Service people and no one has been able to help me with the import. I read somewhere that I will need to modify the xls, cvs or iif to specify the CLASS so the import will know it is supposed to go to a specific CLASS. Anyone knows how to do this?
I run a relatively small division of a large corporation that utilizes SAP. Because of the nature of our business, SAP cannot meet our specific accounting needs and Quickbooks can. Does anyone out there export their financial data from Quickbooks to SAP? How easy (or difficult) is that to set up?

We recently had a virus attack on our network and just to be safe, we formatted all computers including the server and reinstalled everything. After installing Quickbooks Enterprise 13 we can open the program and open the Company files. It asks us to register the program which we do. At this point, if i close the program and open it again or try to open a second company file it gives us the below error message. I created an LLC and lent is $45k to cover start-up costs for payroll and supplies. I added the 45K to my Chart of Accounts as a long term Liability. Can i begin paying the loan back as Personal Loan Note and how do i record it when booking the expense?
My employee said she hasn't received her direct deposit. However, on my QB Paycheck List, her Direct Deposit status is "Processed" and the funds have been taken from my bank account. She said she used a routing and account number from her CashApp account when she filled out the payment info... however when I look at her account/routing numbers - they don't match her CashApp ones - AND the bank that's listed in her profile is "Sutton Bank", which she has never heard of. Does anyone know what might be going on?

Why am I getting pop up that look like Pay Day Loans. Is this happening to you when creating invoices?
I keep getting an email saying "We noticed you haven’t signed in to your Intuit account for over 180 days." I open QuickBooks as an administrator at least once a week. Since I use QuickBooks Payments, every time QB opens, it signs into my Intuit/QB Payments account. Is there something I need to do to stop these notifications? What am I missing here? I'm using QB Desktop Pro 2021. Thanks!
I’ve been using QuickBooks for 30 plus years. I recently upgraded from QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2018 to QuickBooks Online Plus only to find out I couldn’t import the payroll from NCR. The functionality of the online version was completely different from the desktop version…. not very user friendly. I also lost the Other Names List, couldn’t have more than one window open at a time, the Find function was not as useful, to mention a few of the problems I found. I paid for a migration specialist and still lost information and things didn’t convert into the correct cells. It would take a lot of time to fix! Now I am a little smarter and I am considering upgrading to QuickBooks Desktop Premier Plus 2023 but I can’t get definitive answers from QuickBooks sales. My questions are does/will QuickBooks Desktop Premier Plus 2023….Have the Other Names List? Allow me to import payroll from NCR? Allow me to have more than one window open at a time? Is the functionality the same as my deskt

Hi, I used the send accountant file option from Quickbooks Premier to send to the accountant. When they received it they get an error saying "You are accessing a feature that is not supported in the Accountant's Copy. Any changes will not be tracked or sent back to your client in the Accountant's Copy Change File." I did setup a user in my Quickbooks for Accountant and went thru and gave full access to almost everything except some stuff that I don't use. Could that have something to do with it? My company file is password protected but I don't want to give that password out so I created the new user. Any ideas? Attached is the error. Thanks
We use the app on iPads for our staff to show estimates to clients before performing services. However, we can't get the customer list on the left to disappear. Is there a way to show the estimates full screen?
I have QB desktop 2019 pro and have used for QB for years.I have made sure QB is updated.My file opens just fine but when I go to the chart of accounts and double click on any account it won't let me open the account. When I do a search for a specific dollar amount the transaction shows up.I checked to see if the window is hidden but it is not - all i see is Home and Chart of accounts.I also ran file doctor that it doesn't find any errors.Other quickbook files (for different companies open just fine and do not have this particular problem.Any suggestions?
So I am told I can get Intuit to take care of the migration at no cost, however when I get to the bottom of all of the hoops I had to jump through - it says that it works for accrual accounting. I use cash accounting so will this not work for me? Trying to get an answer thru the person who sold it to me but as of yet - nothing. I am not using payroll so that is not the issue.
Can we accept donations on our non-profit website without having to send an invoice? If it's possible, how do we do it? Thanks!
I don't see any notice of it on the Quickbooks status page but Quickbooks online has not been loading all morning. It is definitely down right now. I can't access any of our invoices and this is holding up our monthly billing and I can't get a live representative to help on the chat room page. Has anyone else had luck correcting this?
Software is spamming me with pop up of borrowing money. WTF. I pay for software and the company knows my finances. QuickBooks knows I have money and now they are spamming with adds while using the software. I do not need to borrow money. I do not need a pop up to borrow money with every invoice I create.
Is QB really prepared (that might be a first!) so that we you upgrade to OS Ventura, QB Desktop for Mac 2021 will still work?
