Looking for a replacement windows based POS software that integrates with QB Payments. Not looking to switch to Shopify as we run a Windows based POS station that does more than just POS.
I am trying to get hold of someone in merchant services. Is there a way to do so 24 hrs a day or no.?
Lately I'm having a lot of my SKUs show "0" under "Qty on PO" when there are POs open with the SKU on them. This has only started happening in the last 24-48 hours. It's frustrating and causing me to make duplicate orders for the same SKUs. Anyone have a solution to this? I tried clearing my browser cache & I tried using different browsers.
I have an app I am going to use for business proposals. I can iframe pages into it and was thinking it would be great to include the business estimate in an iframe. It is possible to do this in any way? My calendar apps iframe really nicely, but when I try to iframe the estimate link, I get the message that connect.intuit.com refused to connect. TIA!
Why isn't the cursor automatically coming up in the vendors identification window when entering a bill anymore?Same with creating an invoice I have to clink in the client identification window because the cursor doesn't appear on it's own.This is really frustrating and time consuming. I used to be able to just start typing and not have to click on the space every single time!!!
Hello all, Not sure if this is the correct place to post this but here goes. I have a customer who regularly purchases from us. Now because of logistics and location etc what he does is deposits lump sums of cash for us to hold on to. Whenever he takes goods we generate the invoice and deduct accordingly. We also assist him with cash disbursments. See the example below; To note we retail construction materials and he is a contractor. There are times when he will ask us to disburse cash to Person A so they can carry out his purchases etc. Currently I have him set up as a Supplier and when any cash deposit is made I input it as a bill. Then whenever a purchase or a disbursement is made I take it as a 'Receive Payment' inputting the necessary references in the 'Ref no.' section. I know this is not the ideal way to enter this info and would welcome any alternative solutions. The arrangment works well because this cash injection can be used by us for LPO's and this money is p
When I started my new year in FAM, the assets that I had disposed of didn't go away. they are still on the schedule, not showing as disposed of. To start the year, I went to tools and ran prepare for next year. MY year changed to 2023 and all of the depreciation updated. Why are my disposed assets still there?
Has anyone else Been told stand alone desktop versions are discontinued and then been told they do not care?
Good day I am a long time user of the Desktop version of QB.My usage is on a personal level, and have no need for a costly monthly subscription.I paid for, and rightly own my software, and think I should be able to use it as it was advertised. Yesterday I wanted to set up a new company, but had to sign in for some reason.I thought this suspicious, and decided to restore an old company and try it that way.I then got a message prompting me to update to the latest version, but I didn't do that.I was afraid if I updated, I would be locked out of my current Desktop companies, and forced to go to a monthly subscription, which I do not need, nor want.The message also said that after the update, I would no longer be able to open older companies, or something along those lines. My thinking was, if my Desktop QB is no longer supported, why would Intuit want me to update unless there was some ulterior motive to move me to the subscription. QB Desktop Pro Plus 2023: We track our clients with a job number and a name. When doing invoicing, I used to be able to type that job number in the search bar (we have several hundred clients), hit TAB then hit ENTER and the job would pull up. Now, I type it in, hit TAB then ENTER and it stays on the previous job I was working on and I have to go put it in again and click the search button with my mouse. Any ideas of why it doesn't work any more and/or how to fix it? I already checked in Preferences and "Pressing enter moves between fields" is turned on? I know it sounds like a tiny issue, but it has really been handy over the years and it's hard to break the habit of TAB/ENTER. Thanks for any help you can give!
We frequently have to return parts to our vendors for credit. Anyone have any suggestions on how to track these in QBO to make sure we receive the credit memo from the Vendor?Just to make things more interesting, we frequently receive credits from several different invoices on one combined Vendor Credit.How do you track anticipated vendor credit?

To Whom it May Concern,My customers name and address are fairly long. When I invoice them there name is word wrapped on the bill to address. It looks pretty bad. There is plenty of space to fit it on the template, but quickbooks wraps the text anyway. Is there a way to fix it? Thanks,Shawn
I have orders imported into QB marked as paid, payouts are to checking accounts but some orders are refunded later with a credit card. How do I credit an AR credit memo to decrease the clearing account balance since orders are refunded and to increase the credit card payable?
I see how I can add a 1099 contractor and track their time - but how do I categorize when contractor is doing work for my company within QBs (instead of categorizing contractors time with a specific customer of mine). Also, how can I track my personal time (owner of the business), and categorizing as my time spent in general (not connected to a specific client). I'm using QBO's built in time tracking, not an external app.

We just installed the 2023 QB update and now we cannot view our checking account balances that used to show up. Have tried several different options but still cannot see them quickly like I used to. Any suggestions? I have attached a screen shot showing where the information was always seen.
I am a very small business, just me. Every year since 2000 I have gotten a discount by calling Intuit or purchased the disk from Costco or Amazon to upgrade to the next year-my renewal date is in Nov. This year it looks like I have to renew through Intuit($1023 +taxes), disks are no longer available. I don't use a lot of the features but do use payroll to pay myself,for quarterly and year end reports and payments, inventory, creating PO's and reports & online banking. I have researched online QB and don't want to make the change, I have a program that creates invoices from my cart, inputs cc info(card not present) for processing and also inputs into stamps.com for labels. I don't want to reinvent the wheel, everything works smoothly now. Are there any other cheaper options besides converting to QB online? I have Desktop Pro Plus 2022 with payroll and need to renew soon? I was under the impression that each year of Desktop would be good for 3 years and I really only had to upgrade p

I have started working with a construction company who wants to begin using inventory for items like windows, doors, appliances. So let's say they purchase 50 windows from ABC Window Supply. When they enter the bill, they received 50 windows into inventory, and the asset value is based on that bill from ABC Window Supply. But when the build a house and sell it, the invoices to customers are just for construction draws on a total contract. They don't have a line item for 10 windows (which would reduce inventory and show cost of goods sold for the 10 windows). We could adjust inventory quantity when 10 windows leave their warehouse, but how would we cost it to the customer? Neither inventory adjustment nor journal entries go to a customer. Any ideas? TIA!
How do I post a deposit I deleted in error?
Hello I discontinued my QB's Commerce and are trying to turn on inventory tracking in Quickbooks Online. I have my product settings set to on for tracking and price/rate, however it isn't active to add inventory items. Does this have something to do with QB's Commerce that we were using causing issues? Don't know where any other settings would be to turn on inventory tracking in QB's Online. Any answers? Thanks Jeremy
