Hi! I have one credit card that will not download into QuickBooks Online. It's not an option to add it manually, either (the bank is not listed). And, to make it more complicated, this credit card does not have the option to download in any format at all. I'm manually entering the transactions.***My question is this ... how do I get an Account Card for this credit card to show up on my Bank Transactions page?*** Once again, QuickBooks Online will not allow for downloads or syncing of this card, and there is no option to download transactions manually from the card website. I appreciate your help!
My Power BI report has been connected to quickbooks and pulling in the general ledger table for many months now. This is the query I use:letSource = QuickBooks.Tables(),generalledger = Source{[Key="generalledger"]}[Data]ingeneralledger Yesterday, Power BI stopped being able to load the general ledger table, although other quickbooks tables can be loaded. When trying to load the general ledger table, I get the message, "waiting for Quickbooks" indefinitely until I get a timeout a few hours later. I posted a ticket for Power BI support and learned that others are having the same issue that started at the same time: https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Desktop/Timout-expired-trying-to-connect-to-Quickbooks-generalledger/td-p/4628145Why can't quickbooks return the general ledger table anymore?
While many Accountant users despise the new "Modern View" reports, based on the email this week it is here to stay. The report has potential but right now is causing more work for end users because of our inability to modify the filters or columns and SAVE that as the default format to open each time. Yes, you can save it as a new report, but we need at least the ability to set a default view that will allow us to mimic the Classic Report view. For example, why is the date field so far down the list? In the table, it is so far over to the right that even on a large monitor, you cannot see the date without reordering the columns. And once you reorder them, that setting is not retained so if you move away from that report or drill into a transaction and return to the at report, the columns and filters are completely reset. This is inefficient and part of the overall frustration with the new reports. Am I missing something?? Please give us the abi
Is there a way to change the classification of items in the SOCF in Quickbooks Online (i.e. to choose how to classify items in either the operating, investing, or financing sections)? I am seeing that in QBO, the change in A/D (i.e. Depreciation expense) is included in the investing section of the SOCF. This is 100% not GAAP (as depreciation expense should be a non-cash add-back to net income in the operating section). Does anyone know how to update/customize the presentation of line items in the SOCF in QBO, since the standard presentation in QBO is non-GAAP? Thinking there has to be a workaround for this.

I sent three invoices to collections. 1 invoice was paid to the Collection Agency and the other 2 were paid to me (all different customers). Our collections agency sent a check for the remittance total after their dues and taxes were taken out for all invoices combined. What is the best way to document? I've included example numbers below. Invoice 1- $1000 (Agency Earned $200)Invoice 2- $1000 (Agency Earned $200)Invoice 3- $1000 (Agency Earned $200)Service Tax $100, Total remittance paid to me by check was $300
Hi all, I am using QBO Accountant. I am trying to set up the sub-customer feature and found out I am missing the "Customer label " setting under the "Advance-> Other preference." Can anyone help me with this problem? Thank you!
Hello, I have two items assigned to the same Bin Location by error. How can I eliminate one of the items from that same Bin Location?Thank you
I have been loading in the general ledger table for a long time using the query:letSource = QuickBooks.Tables(),generalledger = Source{[Key="generalledger"]}[Data]ingeneralledgerSuddenly it no longer works this week. I can load all the other tables using this connection, but not the general ledger. Power BI just says, "waiting for Quickbooks" until an eventual timeout hours later. I posted on Power BI support and found that others started experiencing the same issue as me at the same time: https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Desktop/Timout-expired-trying-to-connect-to-Quickbooks-generalledger/m-p/4628145#M1385142Why is the QB general ledger data inaccessible now?
Is there a way to just totally silence Quickbooks Desktop? I have gone into the System Sounds dialog box in Windows 10 and answered "None" for all of the Quickbooks actions listed there, but I still get noise when, for example, I save transactions. I want to listen to something else as I use QB, and I ought to be able to have the program operate silently.
I love that QuickBooks added the feature that charges a convenience fee on ACH bank payments. (I wish they'd add the feature for card payments too.) I was of the understanding that this fee is 1% with a max of $20 per transaction. When I did a test with an invoice totaling $107.75, the convenience fee showed up as $15. This is way more than 1%. Can I get assistance with this? See the attachment.
I have been using QB Desktop for about 7-8 years. My current version is Desktop Pro 2024 and my subscription is paid through next month (April). I understand that it will be discontinued after May 31, 2025. Earlier this week when tried to open the program I got a pop-up message indicating that the Primary Administrator for that Intuit account was for an email address for which I no longer have access. It was an old email address in a company that I sold last year. As a result, I seem to be locked out of the program and don’t know how to edit or update the Primary Administrator. I imagine I should try to contact someone in the Intuit support department to resolve this issue. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Your suggestions are appreciated! Thanks.
I have two final paychecks that should have been dated 01/01/2025 but instead were dated 12/20/2024. The checks have of course cleared the bank and were reconciled months ago. I need to void them and re-write with correct dates.
when switching jobs, the crew no longer has to fill out all fields. Can that be changed?
A don’t want to accept payment for invoices throughout the app
How do you switch bank account to pay a bill from a credit card as opposed to a bank account?
I just want to close a purchase order. I have spent a half an hour and still can't find anything. I have the PO open and there doesn't seem to be anyway to close the entire PO. It looks like I have to go through every line and click closed. In QBMac, there was a little stamp at the bottom of the window that I could click and the entire PO would be closed. I do not see that stamp, nor any other option to close a PO.Why, why, why is everything so difficult on QBO????
I put in QB to pay contractors it sends me and the contractor a email that its accepted, I send out 4-5 per week and some weeks 1-2 of them do not receive the money into there bank accounts but in QB it says it was sent.
