Hello everyone, I'm a web developer who is trying to integrate Quickbooks into our farm management application so I'm not an expert in accounting practises. I have a few questions about the value of purchased inventory. If I buy 5 items at $10 each and then the supplier increases to purchase price to $20, is the current value of those items $50 or $100?If I then buy 10 items at $20, what's the value now?I buy 5 apples at $10 each. I add them to Quickbooks. At the same time, I add oranges which are also $10 each but I haven't bought any yet. I then go to the store and buy 5 oranges. I now have $50 of apples and $50 of oranges. A week later, I see that the price has doubled to $20 each so I update the purchase price of both. I then decide to buy 10 more of each. I now have $250 worth of apples and $300 worth of oranges according to Quickbooks. Why are they different? Thanks in advance
It worked a couple of weeks ago but now it seems like Gusto has made some changes to how it interacts with TSheets but I don't know how to sync employees since this change.
How can my vendors see quantity on Purchase Order's? My vendors can't see quantities of items I'm requesting unless I type it into the description box.
We’re an event company, and we use Projects in QuickBooks Online (QBO) to manage each event. On the expense side, this setup works well — we can categorize and allocate expenses to each project accurately. However, we run into issues when it comes to tracking income. QBO only allows one customer per project, but our events often have multiple income sources — for example, ticket sales (from ticketing platforms), sponsorships, merchandising, concessions, etc. How do you recommend handling this kind of structure? Is there a workaround or best practice for associating multiple income streams with a single project? For context: we’re already using Classes and Locations to define event types and locations.

I was wondering if it is possible to add two separate emails to a customer? The email address I add to a customers information is automatically populated for both estimates and invoices. Our company often sends estimates to a different contact within their company for approval than invoices.

Hello, I realize this was a known issue a while ago. The fix was posted here https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/help-article/install-products/fix-error-quickbooks-unable-send-email-outlook/L4IzswX2I_US_en_US?uid=ma5ihllaAnd since then the fix was released to Outlook. But we are still getting the error a year later. This happened to us last year when I tried to use windows 11. I moved the payroll department back to windows 10 and didnt have any issues. I put them back on windows 11 due to Win10 EOL, with a CLEAN INSTALL not an upgrade. Installed everything normally. I have a user getting this error. Does anyone have a suggestion?QB 2024 Version 34.0.4014.0Outlook 365. Version 2503 (Build 18623.20208 Click to run)Win 11 24H2 The user can go to File>>Send Forms>> check mark 1 invoice and send it. Then maybe 10 invoices later it will error. Or it will error faster if they try to send more than one at a time.
I have 18 employees who are expense submitters. They primarily use their phone's browser to log in and submit expenses. There have been no issues doing this until very recently. Now, if an expense submitter tries to change the date for the expense they are trying to submit, they receive an error that says the date is invalid and they can't submit the expense. If they leave the date alone, they get no error, but then the date for the expense is wrong. This only happens if they use their phone's browser, and this does not appear to be specific to one type of browser. I tried it with Chrome on my phone and got the same error. No issue if I use a computer, but that isn't always an option. QuickBooks chat said they can't help unless the issue is happening on a computer where they can screen share. How do I fix this issue?

When sending an Email with a payment stub attached the body of the email states the following. Hi Vendor:We have received your payment of $ and the bill payment stub is attached.Thank you for your business. It should not say received your payment as I am paying them. How do I permanently change this?
Hi,We have a little over 15 credit cards and it is becoming a hassle to get receipts. this is mostly because i work in the blue collar industry and our guys don't always come to the office. we work on muti-month long contracts, they know where they are going and just go there. i don't even see them in months. We also have another location in another city so.....when credit cards receipts make it to the office i get less than a quarter of them.Is there a software or app that we can use solely for sending these receipts? You know, take pictures and nothing else? so is there a work around that i don't know. PS. I would also appreciate one that also works with sage 50 as our sister company has more credit cards and and fewer receipts. thanks
Journal entry specifies vendor using drop down functionality, however the ledger report that contains the entry shows "-" under the name. Aim here is to enrich accruals with vendor names for clarity.
Is anyone else experiencing crashing problems with the Android application the last few days? Nothing has changed on my Pixel 8a phone, and networks are responsive to other apps. The QB Today page is slow to load, refuses to scroll, and reloads without a prompt. The Menu page simply comes up blank. The app becomes unresponsive enough for the OS to ask if you want to kill it. I'm going to try a reinstall, but I'm not optimistic. Looks like a flaw in a new feature.
