Hi. A new client has asked me to discover why the Sales widget on the dashboard is over twice as much as the actual sales for 2023-24 on the P&L. The P&L is right. How can I track what the Sales widget is picking up? The client moved to QB part way through their financial year so there are many journal entries. Thanks!
Is it possible to add payroll to the Practice company in QB Accountant? When I try to look at payroll plans, I get a page not found error:"We're sorry, we can't find the page you requested. You may have incorrectly typed the address (URL) or clicked on an outdated link."

Hello, I am using Quickbooks Online Simple Start for my own UK business and I have linked a Monzo Bank account to pull all transactions into QB. Recently I had 2 rejected transactions because of insufficient funds, but QB still imported them and expects me to categorise them. Here are the details of the transaction extracted from the Monzo API: You can see that Monzo marked a "decline_reason" as "INSUFFICIENT_FUNDS". QB ignored this field completely when importing the transaction, thinking it was a successful one. Is this a bug? Is there a better solution than just excluding them? Thanks,Ștefan
by mistake, i marked off 2 invoices but I need to reinstate them
It's 2 hsbc accounts and my paypal I've successfully reconnected both according to my bank and paypal, but not according to quickbooks! which is a bit of a pain. any help would be great Rupes
I've tried a few times and no result. Any help / advice appreciated.
tried live chat, waste of time, all I want is when I am doing invoices to have a default tax rate already there rather than have to select from the tax dropdown each time, 99% of the time the tax rate is 20% so I just want it there already.
HiWe were forced to move to online accounts from our faster, more versatile PC system. The old accounts were saved online, and we have been previously able to access the information, if rather slowly.Previously, reports exported via the Save to Excel option were in .CSV format. Now, although the system says that it is doing this, the report shows in the Temporary File folder as a .TLG file - which won't open.I tried the online chat option, but the company representative had no idea what to do, or if anyone in the company knew either. It would be rather helpful if we could access the archived five years worth of accounts as we have a VAT inspection pending, and HMRC are unlikely to be impressed by an excuse on a par with 'my dog ate my homework'.HELP!
I want connect my bank account with quickbooks
Our courses are often in the future so invoice date is booked date and service date is date of course. This works great for income recognition for accounting purposes. But we also want to track sales as in actual income to check against targets and see what has come in that month. What reports will show this, do the sales /budget reports use the invoice of service date?
I have tried using the looking glass and advanced search. Does the search have a start date which does not cover all transactions?
every time I log in or swith accounts I get a nagging "upgrade" in various locations. It's quite invasive. I do not wish to see those
As a business, I amend invoices throughout the month as the invoices go through stages before being finalised. However, I also have an invoice finance facility and these invoices are being funded in error as they shouldn’t be funded until I have been able to finalise them. How would I go about being able to amend invoices as I go through the month without them being pulled through as finalised invoices? Would it be best to create them as estimates?
Hi all hope you are well I am new to quickbooks and I am trying to get my head round it So for example I work for a client for 8 hrs and £20 = £160 So I have to add it on the transition page as a income and then set up a new invoice and add it there on the invoice so I am basically adding it twice Does this sound right ? Its the same with Products if I buy a piece of wood I have to add it on the transaction page and then have to add it on the invoice am I doing something wrong ? I have the basic self employed package
I use QB self employed on my phone. I have searched everywhere and can't find a solution to customising the standard email message QB use when emailing an invoice. I have tried desktop as well with no success. Every time i send an invoice i have to manually change the bland QB default message. Would I be correct in thinking the self employed version is too basic to have this option?
Many of the icons that used to be there are no longer. In fact it won’t allow me to do almost anything of my usual tasks while in the app!
