Can we please go back to how Standard Payroll processed the Employment Allowance? A nice journal behind the scenes, dated on the same date as the pay run, crediting the pay I&E and debiting the payroll HMRC liability. The new Core Payroll posts a weird zero Tax Payment to HMRC to the bank account on the 5th of the month after. The effect is the same, but there is no reason for it to hit the bank account, where every client gets anxious until you can explain to them to ignore it. And it throws every month-end/year-end out because the payroll liability is not the correct value until the 5th of the following month, when the Tax Payment hits the ledger. Come on Intuit, this is basic stuff!
I work away on customer projects quite often and they pay a Per Diem allownace. How do I charge this to the customer, and how do I pay it to the employee (me)? I am the only director of a LTD. Thanks
When I'm adding bank payments from my client's CSV file, it sets the type of all transactions to 'cheque'. These are not cheques. How can I make QB record it as an 'expense'? (I mean, does anyone still use cheques in 2025?!)

I am trying to link my starling account with the Soletrader app. I go through the various steps but at the “select main use of accounts” page the save button is unresponsive. This has been occurring for the last 3 days so I can’t advance any further
Can we please have a link on the Invoice/Sales Receipt etc pages so you can go straight to the Customer or Supplier account? To edit the account, we have to come out of the document and search for the customer. It would be so much easier if we could click on a link to take us straight to the Customer/Supplier account like most other accounting packages do.
Also migrate is not accurate as the individual transactions doesn't move to new dropdown item. This is going to create a huge admin overhead

It appears we have a new bug. I mainly use QBO on either a desktop Mac or an iPad Pro using Safari. It seems specific with accounts pages from what I have seen. If I open an account from the account list I can not scroll up to reveal the list below. I’ve also checked using Firefox with the same results. The window is registering the actual touch of the finger but just won’t move the page up, just selects whichever part of the screen I’m touching. The up down buttons don’t work either with the Smart Keyboard. Please (Intuit Staff Bots) don’t tell me to put the browser in private mode and delete the coached files, doesn’t make any difference. I’m reporting this as a bug to see if anyone else can confirm that it is indeed an issue.
Hi All We have using QB for over 16 years , recently we had to re-install our one QB pc as it crashed , after installing it asked to register , after filling in all the details it gives registration error, it then asks me to skip registering online and register by phone , to register by phone I require a validation code how to I get this , your assistance will be highly appreciated
