Can you edit the tax return to remove the £12k tax allowance if it is already used in a different paid role?
Hi there, hope you are doing well. I have an issue with tax appearance in P&L Statement. The National Insurance Employer Tax that we pay is not shown in the P&L. I attached a screenshot of how by Journal Entry I've done payroll and a screenshot of the P&L report, where for some reason Tax is indicated as zero. For example, we pay the employees Gross £1,000, plus NI Employer Tax £36 - so for this tax of £36 will be as an expense as well, but why it doesn't show on P&L?Please tell me what I'm doing wrong?

hii pay myself drawing s for wages. ,but i have it set up as a cash account money at hand and a expense, is this right?not sure it is a expense as it is not for business use ?thank
Last week my NatWest bank feed stopped. I did all the usual, disconnected, tried a different browser etc. Someone said you need to reauthorise from your Nat West log in. I have found the 3rd Party connection under settings in my Nat West banking log in, but Nat West just say you have disconnected Intuiut from this account! No option to say you want to reauthorise from that side. And QBO still just says 'something went wrong' Am I missing the obvious somewhere!! Help!
HiI am very new to QBO and am just getting going. I am a sole trader and VAT registered. I pay for most of my materials from my personal bank account and don't reimburse myself, nor do i want to.If I record purchases for my business that i have paid for personally, I think I do it via Accounting/Chart of Accounts/ Owners Investment (Equity). How do I ensure that the VAT part of the amount is shown/included in my VAT record?Also I have uploaded the receipt for purchase in Transactions/Receipts. How do I attach this to the investment? I can only see a method of attaching a file from my computer not a receipt already uploaded to QBO.
Under payroll tax/payments, I have been trying to pay taxes, yet when I click on "pay", it says no taxes due. Unable to rectify. Another payroll tax account shows a balance due, when I know for a fact the balance is not due, yet, again, when I click pay or try to record a payment, message says no tax due and I am unable to clear these items off the page. I called QBO and the operator, Brandi, clearly had no idea what to do and decided to just hang up on me and not even try. Need to train your support better. Never even got a call back when I provided a poor survey.
i have a bussiness charge card which will not connect to the bank in quick books,the card is settled every 30 days in my business account, which is showing 1 single monthly payment but i have multiple transactions on the charge card which i can't match , anybody any idea what to do please ,🙏

Hi, my emails are saying sent on my quick books but aren’t showing in my email sent box!
We do not yet have our bank account set up to receive payments in QuickBooks (and may not as I'm not sure our boss wants to pay the fees). When we send out our invoices, it includes the button "Review and Pay". Two questions: 1) How do I change this to say just "Review"?2) How do I change where this link goes to? Right now it takes users to a screen to pay by credit card. Thank you.
Hi Hi i post the same journal each month it is identical to the last, but this month it i will not post , it is giving me this information , is there any known reason that this happens Line Account invalid These Line Accounts don't exist in QuickBooks. Go back to your CSV and match each Line Account name with an existing QuickBooks Chart of Accounts name. Or create a new account in Chart of Accounts.PAYEWagesStaff Salaries and NICsStaff Pension Contributions
I find QuickBooks online is not good SW as it does not allow to create unique customer id.I am thinking of move to other accounting software which allow to do that

Hi I'm new to QB. I'm trying to import my CSV file for older transactions (Co-op bank). I have downloaded the file in a 4 column format, with right date format. Have tried putting 0s in the empty cells and leaving them blank- ie done the suggested formatting tips and it still wont upload. I'd be greatful for any help!! Thanks!
