We currently use Quickbooks Enterprise Desktop 2019. Does Quickbooks Desktop Enterprise offer a way to import inventory transactions from an Excel file? I see some information on the IIF import. I have downloaded IIF import kit but the more I dig, I can't seem to find any solid info on the spreadsheet format for an inventory transaction. We are trying to eliminate how much manual entry we do on a daily basis.
here is the situation: may corp year end is Dec 31. I bought inventory in november 2023 and recorded it as asset, closed books and filed taxes. In february 2024 I started selling my inventory and switched to qbo plus plan to track the inventory. I sold few products; however, it did not removed the sold items and didnt record cogs, only the sale. After activating inventory tracking feature, the items were recorded as follow: Inventory item in Invenotry Assets acct (same acct I used to record purchase in november 2023)Sales to sales acctcogs to cogs acct.qty - whatever qty i had on hand.I feel I am doing something wrong as I am basically recording the same asset to the acct that already has it. How should I start tracking it correctly?
I am on my phone/ tablet and when I create an invoice the sales tax does not get added and I can't seem to add it. Where do you change this on mobile

I took over the books from my accountant. They filed up to year end Jan 31, 2024. They provided me with a Trial Balance, and they recorded the HST collected and the HST paid in separate accounts. However, quickbooks summarized them together. How would I report the GST collected and the GST paid in one account from the trial balance? Thank you.

The data I download and the monthly statement totals do not match. After a page by page reconciliation it appears the download omitted transactions on the statement
