Is there a way to enter multiple Customers in a General Journal AND have their respective amounts show up in their Customer history? It seems only the first Customer's amount entered on the first line of the General Journal actually shows up in their Customer history.

I am a volunteer treasurer at a boating club and we have just transitioned from Sage to QBO. The standard "Detail Type" options are really not at all aligned to our needs. I turned on classes and location tracking, thinking I could use one or both to allocated expenses to each director (commodore, past commodore, rear commodore, vice commodore, etc.), but regardless of whether I edit or add a new account, I am forced to select the Detail Type options... which often overlap several directors and there is no way to directly assign a class to a GL account. How can I directly link a class and/or location to a specific GL account so I can then segment my budget for each director?
I am new and this is my first time running payroll in quickbooks. I ran a payroll for period 1/1/2024 to 1/31/2024 today (2/5/2024). The cheques were generated with the correct amounts but when I go to the payroll tax tab, I see payroll tax generated for 2/1/2024 to 2/29/2024 due on 3/15/2024. I was expecting a payroll tax for 1/1/2024 to 1/31/2024 due to be paid to CRA on 2/15/2024. Can someone help me please?
I am trying to split an expense between 2 accounts and QB is not responding
If I turn on Multi-Currency for QuickBooks Accountant Online, will it affect any of my bookkeeping Clients?I receive payments in CAD and USD, so I need to turn on Multi-Currency. Before I do, I need to ensure that this will only affect my account (QB Accountant Online) and that it won't force my Client accounts to be Multi-Currency as well.
The option to edit or delete the accountant under manage users is unavailable. Does anyone know how to fix it?
customer didnt pay account at year end so recorded as bad debtthen they sent a payment in how do i apply payment
I'm using QB self employed and when I Filter to last year's income it tells me x amount of dollars but when I add up each number manually it shows 4 thousand dollars lower, why? It's messing up my profits for the year.
In QB self employed, in the billing section> payment history the date format is incorrect, it is YDM which is not an ISO standard in any country in the world.
Is there a way to include a negative in the sale receipt to account for fees?
I'm looking specifically on meals. He pays a bill, sometimes tip is included, sometimes not... since the whole meal is an expense item do you record it inclusive of GST or out of scope?
Sadly, I keep forgetting to turn on my auto-milage tracker on the QB app. Luckily, my Google Timeline is always on and always tracks my trips. When I try to import my Google Timeline trips under "Expenses → Mileage → Add trip↓ → Import Trips", all I see is "MileIQ" and "Quickbooks" as options.

I need to change an invoice date or delete an invoice because it has not been paid yet. Given it’s end of year we want to exclude this invoice on our end of year totals but do not want to write it off as a bad debt yet. We have already sent the invoice to our customer and I'm not sure how to handle this situation.
We have a subcontractor, but we don't want them on payroll, we just want them to be able to use Workforce, so we can see where they are working and what customer job they are on.My only workaround, would be to set them up as an employee, but not use it for them. Is there a way to do this, without having to pay to keep an employee active in QBO Online, and allow the use of workforce.
My client just sold his company, but some of our suppliers have charged with bills that's supposed to be for the new buyer. So the old owner just wanted us to bill the new buyer for reimbursement. How do you create an invoice for that? Should I just add another job just for reimbursements? In addition, the old owner wants to bill the new buyer for the leftover supplies he has. How should I enter this in QB? Thanks a lot!
Some of my customer asked me to put my HST number on the invoice but I did not find any way to do that.
