I am wanting to generate the T4's for my staff but am unable to for one employee. She worked for the first 2 weeks of 2023 and then went on maternity leave. She has an outstanding advance but as she is still on leave, doesn't have any current pay to deduct it from. I can't seem to be able to carry the advance over without creating a pay cheque, which is not a possibility for her. Any suggestions on how to get around this and generate a T4 for her?

I use TD Bank. They charge $19 per month for their account. If I have over a certain amount, they reimburse this amount to me. Unfortunately, QB records this as Income. It's not income. How do I organize it so it doesn't show up as such? Thanks!
Hi there, I am wondering what the best way to record a deposit into my business account by e-transfer is, on QB Desktop. For example, if a friend is paying me back for something, and e-transfers me to my business account. I need to receive this money, and then I transfer it into my personal account. I would be receiving a deposit from an outside source, but not a customer. This leads me to think that it is incorrect to record this as a received payment. It also seems incorrect to receive this as a deposit, as it is not coming from any of my current accounts. It is coming from an outside source. Any help with this would be appreciated! Thanks.
I have an employee who is leaving the company. He has over taken his vacation and now has a negative balance in his vacation accrual, QB will not allow me to make an negative earnings entry and when i put in a negative deduction it does not clear the amount out of the accrual.How can i clear out the negative vacation accrual?

I need to close a mock business account on quick books and open an official one. How do I delete the mock account and start from scratch?
When I click on the expenses menu, i select suppliers then I see the list of suppliers, but when i click on one supplier from the list, it does not show me any expenses that have been entered it.

I am only able to print the COA to pdf, not export to excel from the COA list screen. The online help tells me that I should be able to export to excel, but I do not see that option.
How can we be having CPP discrepancies with CRA if we use the QuickBooks payroll services?We have been having trouble with this since 2018 but it has only effected (2) employees. I downloaded QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2015 onto my new computer. It then asked for my License and Product number. But when I entered them, they say they are not valid. But I know they are. I originally installed and registered this product in my old computer in January 2018. Does anyone know why my license and product number isn't working?

An employee was hired in 2023 and the CPP Exempt box was checked off in error. This was found and the CPP deductions were corrected during the year. The T4 information for pensionable earnings did not update during the corrections. How do I edit this information prior to filing?
