This would be helpful to record multiple payments received in US funds and group them into one deposit. and to record fees taken off by STRIPE so the amount of the deposit will match the bankfeed.
SO, you have disallowed us from sending quoted invoices to customers in which we are able to hide actual inventory in a quote and hide actual employee hours in a quote. I guess you don't need Canadian customers anymore?? Let me know if I should start shopping for a new program
It is not generating Confirmation number

How to Switch company now as the menu is removed/disappeared from Today. It is ridiculous to see such change in QBO.Is your developer team verifying the existing menus/functions before applying the new changes ?
Whenever I lauch QuickBooks, it launches my web browser and loads "https://quickbooks.intuit.com/desktop/support-directory/?cid=ipd_desktop_support_directory&qbdt_version=24&qbdt_sku=accountant&qbdt_licensenumber=e9aa885fe78b91a36a4827d9470675219ac7aa3ca5502ed35c02f874d143e85b&qbdt_country=US" How do I disable?
In Windows Startup we have an unknown entry as show in the attached image. The path, c:\program files(x86)\common files\intuit\quickbooks\" exists. The folder \qbupdate\ and file qbupdate.exe does both do not exist. We have Quickbooks Desktop installed installed in c:\program files\intuit\quickbooks 2024\". However qbupdate.exe exist in "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Intuit\QuickBooks\QBUpdate\" (this is the path in several places in the registry). I have not been able to figure out how to change the path c:\program files(x86)\common files\intuit\quickbooks\qbupdate.exe" to "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Intuit\QuickBooks\QBUpdate\qbupdate.exe", either a registry edit or via Quickbooks installation/repair. I did a repair, no solution. I uninstalled Quickbooks 2024, run a registry cleaner, rebooted the computer and re-installed QB 2024. That didn't solve the problem. The issue doesn't seem to affect the operation of QB, even after I disable the offe
HiMy QB desktop has expired. I dowloaded a Trial version to create my Accountant's copy for my accountant for year end.By the time the accountant uses my Accountant's copy, the software will have expired. Will the expiration date affect the Accountant's copy? Is the date stamped within the Accountant's copy file or is it just within the software. Can my accountant open the file with his valid non-trial version of QB? thanks
I have a home currency of Canadian Dollars, but need to create a long-term liability that is in US dollars. How do I designate this account as having a different currency?
currently any tax codes that include provincial tax on purchases are being recorded to a separate expense account called Minister of Finance (BC) Expense. Which is incorrect. The provincial sales tax needs to be included in the expense and I can't find how to change this on the current tax codes.
My question is what is bookkeeping for 107.1 and 107.2
I cannot locate the Submit option
signed up for QuickBooks for the environmental group, Slocan River Streamkeepers, that I work with. Your offices emailed me a bill on 21 October, 2024. The Streamkeepers board members had decided to manage books in another way, so I cancelled Intuit services via Unsubby on 29 October, 2024 (confirmation received by me, by email, on 30, October 2024). I believe my account was paid up as far as reflected in the 21 Oct bill. I see that you've billed me on 21 November, 2024. I assume this is for services in October, although we’d made no use of QuickBooks in that month. Please clarify, and assure me that will be the last bill I receive from Intuit. Thank you. Joel Russ
How can you find when a transaction was cleared in a bank rec without having to look through all of the bank rec reports? The credit card transaction or cheque will show as cleared, if I click report on the transaction it will show me the bill it is linked to but not the date of the reconciliation. It doesn't show anything under audit trail, under transaction history or transaction journal
Been a user of Quickbooks for farm books for years now, FAR from an "accountant" so please bear with me!I discovered that when I submitted my 2nd quarter HST I didn't claim enough/correctly. I claimed $535.97 through website, but I should have claimed $587.39 according to my program. Now, onto 3rd quarter, I claimed $460.79, but still have been unable to fix the 2nd quarter mistake and would like to do that before doing final claim for the 2024 year. How do I go about fixing this? Do I somehow do a tax adjustment for the 4th quarter? How do I receive the payment from 2nd quarter - can I short receive the amount owed to me by Receiver General? By not receiving the amount from 2nd quarter, is it messing up my current HST by chance?Another issue I have, I do not understand journal entries or how to do them, so if that is needed - I don't know how to do that at all.I'm using Quickbooks 2020 Pro version on desktop Yeah, I need a bit of help to say the least
We are new to Quickbooks and I need to set up our company matching deferred profit sharing plan in payroll and need some guidance
How do I transfer outstanding December bank rec items to a new QB file do I can reconcile January bank rec properly?
We use a separate program for invoicing and payment collection, so we don't record invoices directly in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Each month, we create a journal entry to allocate income to the appropriate income accounts and account for HST on these sales. When categorizing customer payments in the Bank Transactions section of QBO, what’s the correct approach? Should these payments be recorded as deposits to Accounts Receivable with a 0% tax rate, considering that the HST is already accounted for in the journal entry? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
¿Cómo puede alguien acceder a la cuenta solo para realizar facturas y que no pueda acceder para tener un control total de la cuenta?
Why doesn't Intuit Canada just tell us there are currently no secure or user-friendly ways around 2-factor authentication for banking connections? Turning off 2-factor authentication temporarily in the bank app is an irresponsible cop-out. Nor should users have to resort to manual downloads. Clearing the browser cache may correct some issues but won't solve this issue. For now pleas make it explicit that for now there is no way around 2-factor for bank connections and as a consequence:The user who is the bank account administrator will have to respond to 2-factor authentication actions for the update; andOther users will have to depend on the primary admin to update the bank feeds. The current restrictions are not entirely on Intuit or the financials institutions. There are no technological barriers to resolving this issue. Only twill to act and work together with I believe it is Intuit's responsibility to take a lead on resolving this issue on behalf of all its users&n
Hi there,I'm a student learning Quickbooks and am having trouble with an assignment. In my textbook (Using Intuit Quickbooks Premiere 2019 for Windows by Christine Heaney) there is a screenshot of the Receive Payments window showing a column labelled "Disc. Date" between "Orig. Amt." and "Amt. Due", however that column does not exist for me in Quickbooks Desktop (attached screenshot). How can I add a Discount Date column to this window? Thank you in advance for any help!
