I've added an employee as a user in QBO with the "Track Time Only" role, as specified here under "Add a time tracking user". The user is able to log in and track time. The problem is that in the drop-down for "Project/Customer", the user employee can see all projects and all customers, which is inappropriate since employees should only be able to add time (and see the names of) projects/customers they've been assigned to. How can I limit what options appear in the employee's Project/Customer drop-down when they add time tracking?

We are independent contractors that provide service for one entity and we need to bill for our services each month. I can see how to create an invoice, but it will not let me add the GST. I have the tax set up, but it doesn't give the option in the option to add it.
I have set Quickbooks to track my sales tax, but I prefer to file the HST return and pay it directly from the bank account (not linked with QB). How can I record in QB that HST was reported and paid?

There doesn't seem to be a way to enable this - how does anyone track stat holidays on their timesheets? Do they just submit 32 hours for the week and leave the stat holiday blank? Do you have to manually adjust payroll for every single employee?
For some reason my payroll no longer matches to each employee. When I try to clear a payroll for employees it matches to an unrelated catagorie and no longer shows the employees name.
My client uses Owl Practice to invoice and receive payments for all their client's.
