Previously our group set up and named two additional pay types but I cannot find out to determine if it is an allowance (not taxed) or if it a Other Earnings type - I want to confirm how QB payroll sees it so that I can confirm how it will end up on the year W2. Thank you.

We just transitioned to QBO for our church. There is a graphic that wants to help us create invoices but there is no X or not now or later button. This is the same on all browsers and different computers so i suspect it is a setting someplace in our account. How do we get rid of this thing so we can see our customer transactions? One suggestion was made to block pop ups for the site but that did not work. How do I get rid of this thing???

I create invoices for everyone in my HOA (for annual due assessment) and as the payments come in, I match the invoices to the checking account deposit. However, whenever I go to create a report, the payments show up twice. This has been a huge headache. See below. I feel like either the checking deposit or the invoice should show up - not both.
Hello! I am using WIP for job tracking. When I close WIP (by closing out the "item" and transfer into "COGS) this zeros out the WIP report, but the WIP Account does not show any deductions. I suppose this makes sense because "closing WIP" is not touching the WIP account, so what do I need to be doing to make sure that when i create a "Bill" to close out WIP that is also reduces the WIP account? Thank you so much!
When I try to send an invoice it says "we can't reach this customer." This has been going on for an entire week and I already called tech support. They said the system was down and I'd hear back. I don't believe that QuickBooks would allow invoices to be down for this long. I need to get these invoices sent. Has this happened to anyone else? Any tips?

I switched from QB Desktop Enterprise to QB Online this spring. Can't clean up all the mess it made migrating . I filed an extension for taxes hoping to figure it all out and balance all of my books, no luck. I am trying to reconcile an account for 2023. I enter an expense - choose the correct account, choose the correct date, enter it, save it, see the green check that it saved. Then I go to the register and it's not there! Some I have entered multiple times, then all of a sudden one will show up. I just don't get it.

I'm feeding invoices from Jobber integration into Quickbooks online. It works great except the discount syncs over as an after tax discount. I have to go into every invoice and manually change it. Can I change something in QBO so that it defaults to before taxes so future integrations work correctly?
