Is there a way to mark a Bill as paid specifically as a Check payment, such that QBO classifies it as a Check in the Bank Register rather than simply a Bill Payment? Thanks, community!
It is so confusing. Not a good program for editing. I knew how to edit in the old version. Can someone tell me how to use modern view and not have the customer see accounting codes? Please!

I have to individually adjust some addresses to fit in the space for window envelopes. Sadly, even the customization for invoices is limited and lacking but available.
How can I run a sales History by SKU report in Quickbooks online?I can run it by product/ service but it doesn't associate the corresponding SKU to each item. I want to monitor my sales for each sku and use this report to adjust my reorder points based on the previous years historical sales.
I have an bill that keeps posting every month and want to stop it
How to enter credit from vendor
I had a custom report that I cannot seem to create in the new report menus. Every transaction report or expense report adds the payment account versus the account in chart of accounts. See in my example my old custom report that I can no longer edit...I have expense account. It list what chart of accounts account that expense belongs to. The only account field I can find on the new reports puts like credit card or bank for that selection. That is not what I need. I need this for workman's comp since the class codes from Timesheet don't come over. Payroll only shows the single class code assigned to employees in payroll settings. The employees have to put in the class code for the service they are performing so I am using "class" on the timesheets. I was able to pull a report that I could filter the account to just payroll and cost of labor. Then the other columns had:customer full name which translates to project nameDateEmployee NameClassAmount (it would break out a payroll
Has anyone come across a new software to try out yet? This is a huge undertaking but it's feeling necessary as QB has put out no information as to when they will fix the SOOO many issues with the new invoice layout. It's been a month and zero improvement. Just a lot of validation without answers. I've been looking at one but it's fairly expensive. Doable but still. I'm wondering if anyone else has found one to consider?
A few weeks ago when I created invoices this way it did include the COGS in my P&L but on 5/15 it stopped doing so. It also removed the ability to directly input the purchasing information when I directly input products on the invoice.
OK BUT HOW DO i PRINT THE BILL OR INVOICE? i DON'T SEE A PRINT INVOICE OPTION
1. Invoice is created2. Payment is taken via an outside system3. Create Open Items Report (preferably Old Version)4. Click on the unpaid invoice, click a few times to receive payment5. Apply the payment to the invoice6. Click twice to save the information and exit the invoice. After all of these clicks, I am now taken back to the main screen, where I need to re-create the report. So much time lost in this process!
Will not allow me to add products to invoice
For the last several years when I created an invoice to my customer for billable expenses (expenses I paid on behalf of my customer), my backup documentation also populated as an attachment on the invoice. It is not populating now. My customer needs the documentation as proof that I paid the expense. What has changed?? How do I get the documentation that I saved when I paid the expense to populate on the invoice as it has in years past?
I can with my android
I've created some subclasses that roll up to a "total" class. When I run the P&L, the report shows all classes along with the rolled up total, which is too many columns to see in a report. Is there a way to run a report showing just the rolled up class columns? Thanks!
Hi, We just moved from QB Desktop to online and I would like to set up a function that I have been manually doing in excel for a few years. Since we have long-term customers I would like to assign each of them a yearly sales goal that I want them to reach and be able to track monthly to ensure we are reaching that target goal. I imagine this funneling into forecasting. Along with assigning our sales reps a yearly sales goal. Does anyone know if this works in Quickbooks Online?
