Reports and accounting

I think I put the details in the question.
I have a customer that is a general contractor. He does not want mark ups on each item when viewing reports, he does not want to see cost and revenue at the same amount (with no markup). He wants to see an estimated cost per item with estimated revenue zero and then wants to see a lump sum estimated revenue by category like base house, options, etc. Is there a way to record estimated cost with no estimated revenue? Is it possible to record an estimate with revenue only and no cost? I appreciate any feedback.
I inputted a journal entry. I am trying to print it. However, when I pull up the journal entry and then access the transaction journal, the report is empty. If I refresh the report, I can see the journal entry. However when I try to print it, it is blank. It has been almost 30 minutes since I entered the journal entry so it is not a lag issue. I have noticed that I need to give it about 10 minutes to be able to print the journal entry, but this is 3 times longer than that.I have tried an incognito browser and I have already been printing other items earlier today in my normal browser and had no issues.

Hi...I work for a npf private school. We current run Enterprise Solutions Non-Profit Edition 22.0 Desktop. I am a CPA. I am interested in input about the following: (1) Can we add an "Accountants" module to our version of QB? (2) If so, what are the advantages of adding this module? (3) What is the price of adding this module?
I have two of the same line items charged to the same customer. one we went to the computer to add tax. now adding the second on the same invoice won’t charge tax. taking away the tax option was a poor update for quickbooks.
Hello, I am looking for a report that will show the date of customers last payment only. Thank you.
It worked fine for years now it doesnt work
I would like to be able to charge sales tax to my taxable customers and NOT charge tax to my non taxable customers. taking away this option was stupid on your part.
This is the same template I have used for years. I only change the date. Worked great before the upgrade.
I refunded our B2B customer money on their credit card (with the intent of charging a different card, per their request). I want to record this refund transaction properly in QB Online. To be clear, no products were returned. There is no physical product being added to our inventory. We issued a Credit Card refund only because our Customer wanted us to charge a different credit card. Here's how we recorded these entries thus far in QB:- Invoice for $100 (Our customer's account balance: -$100)- 1st Payment (by Credit Card) for $100 (Balance = $0)- Refund Receipt recorded for $100 (Balance = $0) I expected their balance due to be -$100, since the Invoice is effectively unpaid at this point in the process. However the Customer's balance is still $0.It seems the Refund Receipt does not affect their Account Balance. The Chart of Accounts (however) lists the Refund Receipt as an outflow of funds from our business. How to handle this properly in QB, so that
I'm certain I did something out of order. Two weeks into owning a business and I am just now getting a handle on the billing. My company receives many payments via credit card, however our processor deposits them in our bank in lump sums. Every morning I check the bank account vs. the quickbooks checkbook and log any entries from the former to the latter. However, when I want to "receive payment" on a particular invoice it moves the money into undeposited funds. I understand why, but when it is a credit card payment, I have already logged the deposit as part of the lump sum from my card processor. The problem is that many of the cc payments I get are also deposits for future gigs and those I log in liability accounts against future invoices. so I have these cc payments against invoices just sitting in undeposited funds until I can figure out how to log them without effectively doing so twice in my QB checkbook. Can anyone help? I am assuming I am making this all way mor
Our quickbooks online suddenly started having issues opening and loading large check, journals, or bills that have a lot of line items. Our internet is running fine and the quickbooks website is working fine everywhere else. It's just when opening or updating large item entries that it completely freezes or just loads forever and never opens up. For example our payroll entries have over 130 different lines in 1 bill for each employee. I can't get it to open up or update without constantly freezing.
Currently every time I send out out an invoice to a customer, I also get emailed via carbon Copy to the invoice. Is there a global setting somewhere where I can remove myself from all future outgoing invoices and reminders? Thanks.
What the heck happen, invoice format has changedAre they working on the site
Wallet checks are not an option to chose when setting up printer.
When I send a reminder email to clients from QBO does the system keep a record of the outgoing email? Can I review them?
Client sees the invoice due date as the invoice date and therefore doesn't understand they need to pay in advance. It also doesn't help me with invoice due based on due date. New system is not workable. Fix as I'm beginning to look for other options/competitors.
Option to select "old layout" not on screen. I don't like the new layout. I have to scroll to see everything, I cannot create a recurring invoice (it gives me a blank invoice instead of bringing over the info like to old layout did). I am not able to change the contact information for one template - it changes ALL templates.
have custom template, cannot use the standard one that does not show the stamp.
it doesn't appear ANYWHERE in the template (never did). Absolutely HATE the "new" invoice. seems like the ONLY reason it was put into place was so that Intuit could push using their credit card payment services. NO thanks. I want my invoices to look exactly the same as they did. how do I fix this?
Hello,I am trying to add the PO numbers to our inventory QuickReport and see no way to do this. I tried to customize the report and pick all the options that are there but nothing will give me the PO number only the bill number (invoice number). How can this be done?
