We converted from Sage to QBO. We brought over 3 years of info, and our financials and general edger, etc all match up. But it is showing all the old customer invoices as unpaid. They were paid, and marked as such in Sage. How do I fix this in QBO without inadvertently messing up the file?

I've been unable to sync my Budget Overview report with Accounts vs. Quarters rows/columns. I need to be able to filter the report by Class, not run Accounts vs. Classes. I really need this functionality. (By the way, I've also been unable to create a budget subdivided by class -- it will only allow me to chose Consolidated.)
Is an employee Health Savings Deduction recorded as a liability? We have employees that deduct money from their paycheck on a bi-weekly basis, similar to health insurance pretax. Should this deduction show up on the Profit and Loss Statement?
I am looking for a way to get the where used (in assemblies) information in a report format. If I can't get the information directly through a QuickBooks report I am open to using an app. Does anyone know of a way to get this information?
No option for statements to be sent.
It seems that the Cash Flow planner is not picking up all the monthly expenses even though there is regular history of these transactions?
I already have them set up on all my recurring templates but all of a sudden some of them are creating a negative tax amount.
QBO has no ETA on when 3rd party vendor will actually mail our 1099s. Is there another way to access a PDF of 1099 to mail to contractors ourself?
For recurring expenses on our credit card, we’d like to automatically allocate percentages to multiple classes in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Although credit card services like Ramp and Divvy allow us to allocate percentages of an expense to multiple classes in QBO, if it is a recurring expense we are unable to automatically apply the same allocation the next time we have that expense. We are wondering if there is a way to do this directly in QBO. We thought the rules feature might be the way, but we can’t seem to apply rules to expenses in QBO.
Ran a cash basis balance sheet comparison report for period 01/01/23 to 12/31/2023.Why does the balance sheet amount not match the COA register for period ending 12/31/2023?In the attached screenshot, the balance sheet amount for "Office Hardware" is $33,042.74 but in the COA register it is $35,363.58 (last entry on 10./14/23) Note also that the amounts don't match either for period ending 12/31/2022. Thanks.
Summary: When I print the Transaction Detail Account Report, filtered by a specific number (Work Order or Invoice Num, which is the same, eg "5409" because I apply "billable" Items from a Vendor Bill to a Customer Invoice and I want to see the profit associated with a specific Work Order. The Item setup includes the revenue account and a COGS account as the item is setup as an assembly item. My problem is I see all the transactions when filtered by "5409" EXCEPT the COGS expense account. If I change the date on the Vendor Bill to the current year (January 2024), it appears, but if the Vendor Bill date is December 2023, it fails to appear. I was told it was an issue with the expense account being a COGS, but when I changed it to a regular expense account, it still did not appear. It only appears if I change the Date on the Vendor Bill to the current year. I did not close the year yet; I am on an accrual basis so that does not appear to be an issue. The date range is also expansive so th

My veterinary practice utilizes Cornerstone practice management software and there's supposed to be a way to export a general ledger report for import into QuickBooks but I'm having issues and I'm wondering if it's because of my account access (i.e. I need to upgrade my subscription) or if it's because it's not possible to do this in QuickBooks Online version. The ledger report from Cornerstone exports as an IIF file and I can't find where to import that file extension in QuickBooks Online. Does anyone know if this is possible in Online or if I'd have to switch to Desktop? Thanks!
I have a PayPal account that is linked to my credit card. My PayPal and Credit Card are both in Quickbooks. When everything is imported into Quickbooks, I go through each account and categorize the transactions. However, the same transactions are duplicated in PayPal and the Credit Card. I can't "match" the transactions, because the dates don't match. The PayPal transaction is usually one day before the Credit Card transaction. What is the best way to navigate the duplicate transactions? It's not easy going through each account separately and trying to remeber and figure out which transaction to exclude. Any help is appreciated, thank you!
Please tell me how to clear individual employee balances on a company credit card. I remember someone telling to write a "fake" check but don't remember the details. The other was to write a journal entry but I'm just the "in office" bookkeeper and don't want to upset the accountant. How-to's for each or any technique would be most appreciated!
Forgive the silly question but when I create an invoice, it appears in my register and deducts from my operating account. Is that correct? I understand that when I apply the payment, it will "clear it out" but I wasn't expecting to see it there. Please advise. Thank you!
When I run my balance sheet my Payroll Liabilities are showing negative. Under liabiilities and equity my payroll liabilities are showing negative, my child support, my income tax, my employment taxes along with my federal taxes. Started last year and I can't figure out what is causing it. Any insight would be great. I tried contacting quickbooks and the guy I spoke with couldn't seem to understand it.
