We installed the lastest update V34.0DR13 dated 02/21/2025We are noticing an error on several reports.We printed an employee report with the following criteria DATENUMSOURCE NAMESSN/TAXIDPAYROLL ITEMAMOUNT CALCULATED AMOUNT. Everything looks good visually on the screen but when you print the report The only thing that prints isNumdate Source name -is blank everything else is moved over a column and the amount is not printing at all. It's not on a separate page.you can change to protrait mode. Now we put this in excel and you will notice that the source name is move over under ssn/tax id. And everything is moved over a column.
Last we we got a notice that there was an update for our QB. We did the update and today found out while doing payroll that since the update our memorized payroll reports no longer reflect what we need. The computer that has not been updated yet still has the reports right. is this a known issue?
Is there any way to get a report in QB Desktop Enterprise that either lists the checks for a date range that includes the Bills that they paid?Or conversely, a report that lists all the bills in a date range and the check number that paid it?If not in QB, any suggestions on 2 reports to export to Excel that I can use a VLookup formula to match up the bills & checks?

I have printed our Physical Inventory Worksheets and have performed the inventory counts. How do I enter the counts into Quick Books Desktop 2022??
There was a recent release to Quickbooks desktop, and we turned on purchase orders and pricing.Right now, I cannot run Customer invoice reports and see the amounts, or see the ship to state.There is a filed Adj. Cost that appears on banking and customer reports that are not available on the tab to display fields. When I choose the Ship to state, the field does not appear on the report. We recently enabled pricing levels, and enabled inventory and purchase orders.I cannot determine why the banking and customer reports have changed. Losing the ability to see the ship to state prevents me from reporting sales tax by stateAny ideas?
I have an issue... I had an employee pay for something.. I reimbursed them thru QBO payroll under REIMBURSEMENTS... So that expense hit my bank register in QBO as part of his pay... However I still need to record the purchase of the product by him however as soon as I do an invoice in QBO and recieve payment its going to show it being paid twice in the QBO bank register. How do I handle this...Thanks
I just want the pdf files (I already have all the transactions imported) so my accountant can have copies without (her or I) having to log into my online bank account and download then from there.

I would like to know how to best set up Quickbooks to track & manage 8 grants and 11 programs. My plan is to input each program (gardening, outreach, etc) as a Class, and input the grants as specific Customers so I can use the Projects feature. However, how I do I track how much I have in restricted and unrestricted funds? If donors donate to a specific program, that donation would be restricted. Most of our grants are restricted but can be used across multiple programs. Is there a way that I can also properly categorize restricted funds so I know how much is left for each grant, and how much people have donated to each specific program?
A customer had a $5,000 credit memo linked to their Membership Dues after applying it to all open invoices. Now, they want to transfer that credit to the Capital Campaign Fund to reflect it as a donation.Since no actual cash was received, what’s the best way to move this amount so:1. The customer's credit balance is reduced accordingly.2. The Capital Campaign Fund income account reflects the $5,000 contribution under the customer’s name.I want to ensure this is properly recorded in QuickBooks Online and connected with the customer name in reports. A few days ago, someone answered some questions which was immensely helpful. I'm hoping to have the same success one more time. The issue that was resolved was that I had 2 credit cards that I had setup improperly in QB. I had one set as the Primary and one as the Secondary. I corrected this by creating a third item in the chart of accounts and listed it as a Primary credit card, and then set the two actual credit cards as Secondary to it. After doing this the charges and credits (payments) flowed into the Primary card and each credit card maintained the charges and payments specific to that card. Now that it has been corrected, I've discovered that having it this way for a few years caused some of my charges and payments to flow to the wrong cards. With the way it is now, one card register indicates it has a balance of -$658.52 and the other card has indicates a balance of $658.52. In other words, one card register balance is negative and the other is positive in the
I used to be able to select "print packing slip" after creating an invoice and a packing slip would pop up that I could print out and include with deliveries. In the new invoice format when I select "print packing slip" it just populates the invoice and NOT the packing slip. Is it no longer possible to print a packing slip?
All of a sudden when I scroll through an estimate by swiping on the touchscreen, it moves whatever line item is where i touched first. I did not change any settings and I can no longer scroll through an estimate. I changed from business view to accountant view and that was not it. Please help.
I need to run a report to see how much a specific vendor paid us over a set timeframe, but the payments are tied to different clients. For example, if Vendor 1 paid us a total of $X over 10 payments last year, with each payment associated with a different client, how can I pull a report that shows all of those payments by vendor?Additionally, when I try to search for deposits through the transaction search, I can't find them under the vendor name. The transaction search only shows the deposits if I use the client name, not the vendor. Is there a way to search for these deposits by vendor? Before the transaction and reporting page update last year, I was able to do both of these without any issues. However, now it seems like the reporting is only tied to the client and can't be searched by vendor anymore.
Is it possible in QBs Online to bill a tenant for sublease (rent) income and then customize that income to be applied against rental expense- so that the rental income reduces your rental expense. I am being billed $11k for rent by my landlord, and billing my subtenant $11k and I would like my rent expense in my P&L to be zero?thanks in advance for any help..
If I create a custom report inside QB, let us say a "Transaction Detail Report", will it be accessible and can be exported thru Spreadsheet Sync? If I place new values in the columns that are out of scope of data from QB, will it move down if I enter a new transaction in QB and when it synced? Thank you.

I've asked this question many times in the past (recently October 2024). Has QBO introduced Purchase Order customization yet? We create a PO in QBO, generate a PDF and use a custom Outlook template to re-enter all the details and send the PO. It would be nice to create a nicely formatted PO in QBO and press Send. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
Customer Type is supposed to be on the Customers page and give you the ability to assign a type to your customers. It's not there or I cannot find it. Is it gone?
They are only getting the "pay invoice" blue window. In order to see a printable invoice that are having to click on the "Pay Invoice" link then click "view invoice".... They don't like that and preferr the PDF to be attached to the email.
Hello! I am using Quickbooks Desktop Pro Plus 2024. When sending invoices, I would like for our DBA name to be used instead of legal business name. For the printed invoice, I can create a modified template, delete the company name data field, and then add a label with the DBA name. However, there are two other places where the legal company name appears. First, when emailing the invoice to the customer, the legal business name appears as a "header" in the first line of the automatically generated email message body text as shown below.
