A few months ago we needed to set up an income account for a class we are offering. It has come to my attention that when the class is over we will need to pay everything to the presenter. Is there a way to reclassify the account as a liability account?
Main client is a law firm. They have sent us several cases which we identify as subclients. The invoices are currently going to the different subclients at the address of the law firm; I need the invoice to go to the main client (law firm) directly.

Hi, So we use cash basis for our company and recently I noticed that there are some unpaid invoices showing up in my Profit and Loss under Income. Why would this happen? I checked and all setting are set to Cash Basis. I made sure that it says Cash Basis on the report also.Help?..
Somehow, our bookkeeper got a balance in Default Credit Cards because of how a credit card payment was posted. We want to make it go away and know we have to go through the credit card module but don't know how to make it go away? Any thoughts?? Thx so much. (This is why I don't use the credit card part)
So, my business was started last year. I have a business credit card, but the payments were made through my personal account before I established a business checking account. How do I record those payments, so they reflect correctly on my profit and loss.I did make a "clearing account" but my concern with that is it leaves a negative balance in that made up account. Is there a way to rectify that? Does it matter? Or is there a more correct way to solve this issue?
Hi all! I'm new to quickbooks online - just set everything up. In trying to run 1099s for my contractors for 2023, I noticed that nothing is showing up for Q3 2023 - I can see all expenses from my business bank account for the entire year but q3, including all transactions not just contractor payments. Is there a resource to help me figure this out? I'd like to make sure their payments aren't showing up as income
I used to be able to see when the customer viewed the invoice on the bottom of the invoice. Today I realized that feature is missing. Is this a toggle button thing or a QBO developer thing?
How do I add a donor's email address to the Transaction List by Donor report?
Hi. I am using QB Desktop Pro 2021 and when I tried to reconcile a recent Banking Statement I noticed the Credit Card payment that I made was not listed. I wanted to go back and look at previous reconciliation reports from prior months. Someone told me to go to Reports and then Banking and then Previous Reconciliation which brings up the "Select Previous Reconciliation Report" screen but I don't have the "Statement Ending Date" drop down list on this screen so I can't pick a prior month. In several videos that I have watched I see the "Statement Ending Date" drop down list on the "Select Previous Reconciliation Report" screen but it is not on mine. How do I get the "Statement Ending Date" drop down list to appear on my "Select Previous Reconciliation Report" screen? Thank you in advance.
WILL EDITTING A RECONCILED BANK TRANSACTION BY ADDING MEMO OR ATTACHING A RECEIPT AFFECT THE BALANCE OF THE BANK REGISTER?
How do you change the vendor to an employee who is an employee?
When I run my profit and loss report under income there are two categories. First is construction income which includes all invoices including reimbursements. The second category is labeled other construction costs and under this category it list only the reimbursements. Both of these are counted as income therefore the reimbursements are being counted twice making it appear that my income is much higher than it actually is. I need a way to fix this where the reimbursements only show once with the invoice and not again separately.
I jave a line item on my P &L called Unapplied Cash Payment Income. There was once a fix for this in the help section but I can no longer find it. Just Unapplied Cash Payment expense. Can anyone help ?
