Can I import bank transactions from excel files .CSV to Quickbooks Accountant Desktop 2020?
We deduct health insurance premiums from our workers payroll. Those withholdings go into a liability account in our school's QB account until I pay the health insurance invoice. I accidentally paid the invoice from the church's QB account and not the school's. How do I clear the liability in the school account since I paid the invoice from the church account? I am not sure what line items to use on a Journal Entry.
Hello, Thanks for readiing this and your help. QB DESKTOP Multiple trusts pay the management company management fees for properties owned (all the same family). I ran the report for payments to the managment company and got a total. But we also reimburse for insurance, etc. When I filtered (customize report) for just the managment fees the report came out blank! Yikes! What did I do wrong?! I am looking to be able to create the P&L Budget Performance Report in QBO and it does not exist. However, it does exist in QB Desktop. Any ideas as to why it is not an option in Online and how to get Quickbooks to make it available? Thanks in advance!
I frequently get "unexpected error, try again later" when I void invoices. How do I fix this?
We use Payroll and also have bank transactions downloaded automatically. These two features produce duplicate transactions:one comes from Payroll and one from the download. I have deleted one of the two transactions in order to reconcile the checking account, but the transactions reappear -- they don't stay deleted. Can you tell me how to permanently delete these transactions so that they stay deleted? One of the transactions has a "R" in the checkmark column and one has a "C", although i have manually cleared the "C" and it didn't help.
I am using Enterprise 22.0 One customer has no balance in the customer center. But when I run the AR Aging Summary I see a negative balance. The total for the AR aging is off by this balance when compared to the balance sheet. I have tried to check and see nothing to apply this to an invoice as no invoice or unpaid transaction is in this customer's account. Not sure I need to run Utilities Rebuild or Verify data to clear. Any thoughts? So AR for Customer shows -4,494.00, AR summary is 4,494 lower than the total on the balance sheet.
my Quickbooks Balance in my Chart of Accounts does not show up for each category. Some categories do show a balance or $0.00, but not all. When I click on view register or run report I am able to see the list, but the balance does not show in the Quickbooks Balance column. I have confirmed in settings that Quickbook Balance is turned on. For instance, I know that I have "insurance" category expenses entered, however there is not amount showing in the Quickbooks Balance column showing up. If I click on the associated Run Report button, I can see the transactions. I would like to be able to glance at my Quickbooks Balance column and see all balances.
I'm trying to get a report for our accountant that has the 1099 information. I have no trouble getting the report but it won't print with vendor addresses. This is information that my accountant has to have in order to prepare the 1099. How do I report with addresses? Thank you,Jennifer
We use classes for our accounting. When viewing a report, such as a balance sheet or p&l, and I want to see transactions that make up a number, I double-click on the number and a transaction report appears showing the transactions that make up that number.This transaction report does not show the class associated with the transaction until I customize the report and add that field.It would be helpful to not have to customize this each time I drill down. Is there a way to run a report that lists all customers, and somehow shows their last transaction date? I'm trying to clean up my customer list and inactivate customers that have not had an estimate or a sale in the last 2 years. I really don't want to have to click into all 1,500 of my customers to see if they've had a recent transaction. It seems like there should be a report somewhere for this.
Hello. Been using Quickbooks Online for about 5 years and have never seen this issue before. In the past few days, some time entries have shown up as unbilled but they have already been billed and in some cases the invoice has already been paid. I contacted QB support online and that was pretty worthless. This hasn't occurred for all time entires for the month in question, just some of it. Any ideas?
Is it possible to sync my QuickBooks inventory on my Shopify page
I understand this is an ongoing known issue and I need to know if it will be resolved. The setting in Account and Settings/Sales/Custom Transaction Numbers cannot be disabled. I have the WooCommerce Connector from OneSaas (Intuit) to sync orders from WooCommerce. There is a setting to assign a new invoice number to these sales using the existing numbering sequence in QBO. This feature will only work if you turn off Custom Transaction Numbers, which as mentioned cannot be done! I gave up on the invoice number integration and decided to use two unique series of invoice numbers, one for manual invoices and one for WooCommerce orders. The problem now is the invoice numbering sequence in QBO now defaults to the number from the last invoice that was entered. Following each WooCommerce order the numbering sequence changes and I have to close the invoice, go see what the correct invoice number should be, then manually change it to the correct number. Before I used to put a number after the customer name to make it different. Is that the right approach?
I need a report that shows the customer's name, billing address, billing city, billing state, billing zip code and total sales for a specific period. It would be nice if the customization in the Sales summary by customer would let you add the billing information. That would make the report ideal. I've seen some dialogue go back and forth in this area, but I have not seen a resolution to my satisfaction. The last posting, if I remember correctly, was dated September of 2020. Has QBO made any strides in this area? Please advise. Thank you.Camate60
I used to be able to create an invoice and add transactions to it throughout the month before sending it to the client. with this new invoice interface, if I create an invoice, I can't go back to it later to add additional linked transitions. they won't pop up unless I create a new invoice. this is really frustrating because I like to prepare my invoices throughout the month and not leave it all to do at once. i know that it's not an issue with the transactions being marked billable, because if I create a new invoice for the same client, they pop right up. this must be a glitch in the new update, if there's a way to fix this on my end please tell me! otherwise, QuickBooks please change it back so I can edit my invoices and add linked transactions over time!
