There seem to be other updates to the statement screen, and I don't know if this problem is related to an update. I don't think it's anything I did.
Instead of recording daily charge-on-account transactions to specific accounts, I have been just been subtracting these amounts from daily sales. What's the better way to do that?
I got about 40 emails saying I had changed my account info and I did not- it said my account info was changed in my Quickbooks Money processing account. I was suspicious but I have a strong password and MFA enabled - It does not look like anything has changed but I am suspicious. Has anyone else got these emails?
I have request that please have a option to view and export trial balance where For Balance sheet items balances are as on date and for Profit and loss items its activity amount for the selected period. There's already trial balance but it doesn't serves my purpose and I believe many people require Monthly TB for viewing/further uses and auditing purposes. Please, I request everyone to cheer if you support and QB team to consider this. The current TB is alright for YTD but its not all that is required. Description of Issue:If I have to Make a monthly TB I have export TB, Export PL. Clear PL items then decide what are PL items and then decide whats debit and whats credit and if something is negative then I have to put is in other side. Its a time consuming task, which should be possible by few clicks and download. I am not trying to blame or sound rude but I am having a trouble and I need you to help me. Hope you understand. Hello. My books are kind of a mess but I’m trying to fix that. So here’s my story. I have no clue what to enter for the opening balance equity/ owner investments. In the beginning everything was mixed together, for the last year I’ve been inputting everything into qb. We 100% funded this business from our personal funds, I didn’t do this big initial investment into a bank. Do I just estimate? Or do I have to go through every transaction over the past 2 ish years in my personal account? I filed our taxes last year and would like to enter all of that into qb so I can have everything in one place for this year. But lost on how to do it since I didn’t take the traditional route of getting funding and such from other sources.
How can I apply a vendor credit memo to a bill that has already been paid? I have outstanding credit memo's that need to be applied to bill payments so that they do not have outstanding balances. Thank you.
The name of the credit card has changed, how do I change the name of the account. It is the same account, only the name has changed.
Quickbooks enterprise 2024, We are having problems when running build shortage reports. It would appear when there is a shortage of any item in the main assembly (can be item or assembly) causes the items of sub-assemblies to show up in the shortage list even if there are enough of the sub-assemblies on-hand. What is displayed is a false shortage but makes it nearly impossible to use the shortage list.This is 100% replicable, we have replicated on our live company file and a brand-new sandbox file to ensure that we aren't using "corrupted data" and yes, we have verified, rebuilt and sent our file off to the "QB Doctor" Assume we want to build: Assembly A consisting of: -Item A - 4 required, 4 on-hand - OK -Sub-assembly A - 1 required 3 on hand -- OK Sub assembly A contains: Sub-Item1 - 1 required to build sub-assembly A, 0 on hand (OK because sub-assem

Hi All,I am having a problem with reconciling my credit card account, when the money comes into the bank from the credit card account I create a bank deposit.In the account field, I put my bank accountIn the "Add funds to this account", in the account field I put the credit card account and after filling in all relevant information I click save and when reconciling my bank all is good. However, when I try to reconcile my credit card the entries are showing as payments and not Deposits, how do I correct this?Best Regards,Noel
Hi, So every single transaction in QBO has a "Transaction ID" (you can see this from any transaction page as the part of the URL that says "txnid=xyz"). I'm trying desperately to get this (or ANY unique key) into my reports for export. Is this doable? Every system I've ever worked with has a unique key that's serviceable, so I don't expect QBO to be any different. Do I have to go via the APIs (are there any?!?!) to do this?
My father passed away recently. I have discussed this in another topic. He has 2 banks accounts (a checking and savings) in his Trust’s name. They under his Social Security number because before he died the Trust was Revokable but now that he has passed way it is Irrevocable. I am supposed to meet with his lawyer today. He is creating SubTrusts for 2 of the Beneficiaries. He is going to give me 3 new Tax ID’s, one Tax ID is to replace his Social Security number for his main Trust bank accounts, and Tax ID’s for the 2 new SubTrusts. As far as the main Trust I am not sure if the bank will keep the same account numbers for the checking and savings accounts now that his Social Number will no longer used or if the bank will create 2 new account numbers for the new Tax ID. My guess is the later. As far as opening up new SubTrust bank accounts, I want to be sure that when I move money from the Trust bank accounts to the SubTrust bank accounts for the beneficiaries that nothing is done wrong s
