Hi,Being new to QB, Im finding the process of matching payments to invoices far more manual and potential high risk of getting it wrong. Are there simiple steps guides for each step of using QB as the videos are not helping. Need a step guide for:Invoices - Payment - matching processGo Cardless - Direct Debit - Payment - matching processPaypal - payment matching to invoices.Im sure there must be some simple step by step guides to ensure everyone uses this product correctly. Any help would be appreciated (videos appear not to be up to date, and dont cover these steps)
Hello Community I have posted and been paid for an invoice. The vat covering the period the invoice was posted in has also been filed. The amount was correct and the vat which was filed was also the correct amount. My problem is - the invoice showed some incorrect information and I would like to amend this, but I'm unable to do so as it falls into a vat period that has been filed.Am I able to delete the invoice and re-issue one with the correct details? Thanks in advanceJD
HI, I have just taken on a client who has totally cocked up the postings into Quickbook. Even though i'm a qualified accountant I'm new to quickbooks so trying to learn on the job!I am looking at a supplier. His trade creditor has a zero balance but there are 2 invoices and 4 payments (credits) than need clearing off against each other. How do I do this? Thanks

UK government requires records to be kept for five years. Do receipts uploaded and attached to my banking feed cover me for this? The US version advises that copies of receipts should still be kept outside of QB in case the user moves to a different platform or there's a profile problem. Is the advice the same in the UK?
