I usually get paid directly from my clients but sometimes I have to go through an Umbrella company.When I get paid by the umbrella company, they deduct my tax for me (as if I'm an employee). When that transaction comes in to quickbooks, how do I label that as 'business income' without it being calculated with all my other income that I need to pay tax on?
im trying to add THE image shown in products and services via the API, without success. Could you please detailed instructions how to do it?i have identically looking entries in AttachableReffor images i added manually through the UI and such i added to an item via the API. but such i add through the API never show up as THE single image in the UI. Thanks

A feature has disappeared and I’m not sure if its meant to be that way or that my iOS app has a glitch. Until recently when I applied a payment to an invoice the option was there to then email that paid invoice to my client. The option has now gone, meaning I have to go back and find the paid invoice to send it to my clients. Makes no sense to have removed the option to send it at the point where the payment was applied and saved.
I've ocassionally had problems with Quickbooks not working in Chrome previously. For example I will go to enter a bill and click on it but it wont load. Usually I close down Chrome and log back in and its fixed. Now every time I log into QBO in Chrome, it loads as normal but I go to enter a bill or an invoice, or view an old invoice and it does nothing. You click on it and it doesn't load. I've deleted cookies, deleted history, closed everythning down and logged back in but still the same. Its becoming really really annoying. Short of changing my brower to Edge which I don't want to do as I use Chrome for everything else, I'm not sure what to do. I load it in Edge and have no problems whatsoever so it must be related to Chrome. And I don't want to go in view private browsing either so please don't suggest this as a solution ;-)
Are documents attached to transactions stored in the Quickbooks cloud or in a 3rd party cloud? If in the Quickbooks cloud, in what data jurisdiction are they held (in my case the ideal would be UK or EU)
Hi, Several bills from suppliers were paid for by a director using a personal credit card.Although there's a 'directors loan account' set up in QBO it is not showing as an option in the drop down box 'bank/credit account' on the 'bill payment' screen. How do I record the transaction in QBO so that:1. The suppliers bills are shown as being paid and their balance is correct.2. The amounts owed to the director are shown in the 'directors loan account' i.e. it's an option in the drop down box.I suspect I may have to create a 'directors loan credit card account' but would prefer not to if that's possible?Thanks.
Hi. I need to set up custom invoices for certain customers, with the columns and titles how I need them, not in standard format. I have created and saved a template using custom forms & edited it to how I need it. I can see this template, however I am unable to use it to create an invoice! If I create a new invoice, and try to customise (as per instructions), my template is listed as an option, but when I select it nothing changes. Chatting with an expert provided no help! I hope someone here can suggest what I may be doing wrong? Thanks in advance

I accrue my income quarterly CR Sales DR Debtor using a journal entry. When I raise the invoices, they go to sales again, so I have to do a journal to take them from income to the debtor account DR Sales CR Debtor. Can I raise the invoices against the debtor account rather than against sales.
