Hi,I'm using QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise 2022I set up a new company file with the admin user name. Can I have another user name with full access role to use for day to day activity? I'm trying to setup in a new company file a user name for myself to be used for day to day activity (as I have in other files that I set up in the past) but when it is asking for an email address it tells me that this email address is already linked to another user, this is something that i did not have an issue with in the past How can I go around it? I would need to have full access role assigned under the new user Thanks for your help
In looking at the project overview, I have to look at labor and cost of goods separately and my vendor credit didn't show up in Cost of Goods even though it was categorized that way. I'd like to be able to create one report that will show both labor and all material and service costs for single project by filtering by project #.
Help, please..I have a client that as soon as I generate an invoice, it automatically closes and shows as paid. I have not been paid, and the invoice never even went out. It's like there is a setting or something corrupted. It's just ONE client.

I've just started using Quickbooks. Or at least, started to try ac nd use it. I signed up for the free trial but it is completely impossible to upgrade myself to a fully functioning subscription. Everything I try to do ends with a pop up that says 'async and reliability' - some sort of code jargon. I tried allowing popups for the site - still the same problem. I can't process invoices because every action gets blocked. I can't access my 'setup' page any more. I am pulling my hair out with frustration! Anyone else experienced this? I have 12 hours before I give up and use a different platform. I need to be paid!
I just updated from QB Mac 2012 to 2015 (version V16.0.3 R4 Build 1460) and I have two users I need to delete. I open preferences and “users and passwords” and then select the user I want to delete. I’m SUPPOSED to be able to click on the minus sign to remove them but it is grayed out. I’ve restarted my computer, tried added a password to the Admin account and the user accounts, then tried deleting the passwords, restarted again, etc. and nothing works! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I gave QB online a try about a year ago and for various reasons gave up and continued with Desktop (Premier 2018 at this point). However, I kept my subscription going, so I've been paying the monthly fee since then, even though I haven't used it. I'd now like to try again and see if I have more success this time. I've got started by doing an export from Desktop Premier 2018, up to my QB Online account. My expectation was that it would simply overwrite the existing (and now *very* out of date) old data, with the new data. However, it appears to have created an entirely new company, and has done that under a second QB Online account (remember, I already have one). And that second account appears to be a 30 day trial. Can anyone tell me how to do what I'm attempting -- namely, completely ditch the old data and start using newly imported up to date data? FWIW, while browsing around looking for info on this, I did notice this ominous message at this Intuit web page

We recently acquired a company who uses Quickbooks Desktop Enterprise. We want to retain the historical data and continue to use Quickbooks in the exact same manner. Can the existing license/subscription be transferred to the acquiring company and the EIN, bank account & tax account information be changed?
I am trying to add my wife as a user for our quickbooks we are using for personal finance. Just signed up for essential. When I send the invite to her with her email address and she trys to activate and set up a password instead of her name being listed as the user (I put my wifes name in the invite) it has her mothers name listed. Can't seem to change it. tried deleting and resending. Not sure what to do. We are pretty sure this particular email address has not been part of a quickbooks in the past. Is the quickbooks account attached to the sign up persons email or is it the "name of the company" we chose? thanks. Any help greatly appreciated
I am trying to get back into the Quickbook payroll so I can sign some my employers up with half checks and direct deposits and work on some of my business expenses and I need to know how to get back into the site so that I can start working on this soon as possible.
I found an issue that I believe is a programming problem. Support is closed at the moment. Is it possible to report the issue before Monday morning?
QB tried to deposit funds to an old bank account that shouldn't even be active anymore. The deposit failed and QB is asking me to correct our bank info, even though that has already been done. I had to re-verify all our bank info, online login, verification etc (even though, again, this has all already been done). After all that I get this message:"That sign-in info was correct, but we can only connect certain types of accounts. You can try a different bank. (2106)"All our of other deposits have been working fine....we're just trying to get this one erroneous, stray transaction to transfer to our current account, which again, has been working fine for over a month now. Troubleshooting steps online for this error are standard generic/useless drivel, not helpful. Thanks!
