I'm just starting out with my own bookkeeping business from home. I'm trying to understand if I need QB's Desktop in order to work with a client who currently uses the Desktop version. Or can they share their QB's file and I work with it in QB's Online?

I am trying to export my QBO accounting files so I can import them to my QBO payroll account since QBO cannot merge the accounts. After QBO said the file was zipped, I now just have a white box on my screen that says downloading - how long should it take? It has been on my screen for 15 minutes.
I do not want to print only OPEN sales orders. I want to print ALL sales order that have been created regardless to whether they have been invoiced or are closed.
Hello, I was pleased to see that Intuit is compatible with setting-up the Microsoft Authenticator for 2FA. Kudos! I use this tool with about a half dozen different sites. One question: I have three different iOS devices running Authenticator that I would like to have setup. However, I can't seem to find a way to display the QR code a second time to setup an additional device; it's only shown once when it's first set-up. It occurred to me to take a screenshot and use it multiple times, but I don't actually know enough about the back-end to know if that will work. How do I make this happen? As an aside: there are two different ways that Authenticator works; one is a mode where it shows a code, and the user enters it when they login (good). The other mode is that the website requesting authentication pushes an authentication request, and the user can simply tap 'approve!' on their device to allow access (better). Hi, I have a 1yr prepaid subscription to Simple Start, activation code purchased through Dell.com. I'm trying to upgrade to Essentials, but it doesn't give me the option to do so. I've tried a number of different things (spent 2hrs on the phone with QB support...), but we didn't get anywhere. Wondering if you might have any ideas? I manage two other businesses that are proper subscription-based and no issues there, which makes me think it's because of this prepaid plan. I tried to subscribe with this one, but it looks like it won't allow any changes until after the "free period" concludes Jan 21/2022. Thanks for your help!
