I followed the instructions on exporting from QBO to QBD, updated the certificates as needed. https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/import-or-export-data-files/export-and-convert-your-quickbooks-online-data-to-quickbooks/01/186187# The migration tool starts, lets me select the qbxml file, creates the file but then it throws the error code 1009 - Internal Error: exception unknown. When I open the created file, no data has been transferred. Can someone guide me on how to proceed. I am using QB 2018 Premier Manufacturing and Whole Sale.

Hi all, QB Desktop 2019 Pro 2019. At the names limit of 14,500 entries. Trying to delete old jobs via a right-click -> Delete Customer:Job and getting "although this list name is inactive quickbooks cannot delete it because it is used in at least one transaction". How to get around this ? Thanks all,Denis

Dear Colleagues: We currently have QB Journal entries set to whereby QB automatically adds a number to the previous journal entry. This is not working well for an audit trail as we have 4 employees entering in journal entries manually not counting Fish Bowl which makes journal entries late at night when the rest of us are at home in bed, and we import payroll journal entries from our payroll service directly into QB. My question is if we change the QB default to not automatically enter in a journal entry number, how will the interface work with numbering Fishbowl journal entry posting at night all by itself and the QB payroll journal entry loads? Any suggestion from anyone would be welcome especially those with Fishbowl and/or with an audit background and/or working in a fast-paced furniture manufacturing environment. Sincerely, Bob W

How can I set the default account for a vendor? For example, I want all charges to Exxon to be assigned to Auto Expense. When I get an Exxon charge from my bank statement, it assigns it to Computer Expense and I have change it manually to Auto Expense. It never learns the change. Thanks
We are trying to clean up our accounts in the chart of accounts list and each time I try to deactivate one it comes up with the following error:These accounts weren't deactivated:Furniture Assembly Request failed with status code 400o I have cleared my cache, check to see if any were tied to any recurring transactions and made sure there are no balances in the ones I want to deactivate. Hello!I am currently using QuickBooks but unfortunately, PKO Bank Polski is not yet listed among the supported banks for synchronization. As a result, I have been manually entering statements from my accounts in EUR, PLN, and USD.However, I am facing an issue where, after categorizing all transactions for these accounts, the final balances do not reflect the actual bank balances. For each of the accounts, the bank balance shows exactly 0, while QuickBooks shows random numbers.Could you please assist me with this issue and help me understand how to resolve it? I would appreciate any guidance on what could be causing this discrepancy.

I had it under my QBO accountant but switched billing and then he breached so I clised the client but the books are still there? I put it back on my plan and want to completely delete everything. He won’t pay me so his new accountant can start over
I forgot to change the payment information for Quickbooks billing because we needed to close the credit card. I need to change the payment information to have the funds come out of the checking account. The email notification of payment not going through says I can change the method of payment but Quickbooks is not allowing me to make that change. HELP!!
I can't locate the Interest earned account. I don't see it on the chart of accounts and when I do a P&L it doesn't show up either. I use the box on my bank reconciliation to enter the interest dollars. I would like to know how to set this up or why it doesn't show up on a report.

We go to Projects, select the project, run the Project Profitability report, then click the bottom number and it would break down all income and expenses allowing us to essentially export a detailed project P&L. Now I have to go into reports and customize it for each job. Is anyone else struggling?
Would like to know if I can create a Purchase Order by uploading a CSV file versus entering each item manually.
It appears that my fiscal year company was set up as a calendar year company because the net income shown in the equity section is not the year to date income for my fiscal year which ends on 3/31
