The company I work for has a credit card fee expense account, but the customer is charged that fee. The sales invoice does not reflect that fee charged to the customer. How can I offset that fee expense? What account would I debit if I credit the expense account to zero it out?
Is there an app that will copy and restore the entire QBO file into a new account - I want to move the company from one subscription to another. I see I can export and import lists but I am hoping there is a connector that can be used. The move would set up a new company, so the imported data can overwrite all existing information. Thanks

We are having a Database Server Manager issue. We have 2 businesses (2 company files) that are in 2 separate buildings on our property. Some of the employees of each business work in both the company files. We have been working in multi user mode in both company files for a couple years with no issues. A couple months ago company #2 decided they wanted their own IP address, our local IT company took care of this. We have been having issues since. The employees in bldg #1/company #1 can access company #2 file in multi user mode. When an employee at company #1 is in company #2 file in multi user mode, the employees in bldg #2/company #2 can not access the company file. They get error message -6190 -816. We have tried having an employee bldg #2/company #2 access their company file and try to switch to multi user mode, but they get an error message (think it was H202). I report sales tax on the cash basis and followed quickbooks directions for this issue but it did not change the report. I also ran an April report for my transactions so far but the issue is still there.
It said I needed to resubscribe to my account and I did that but now it is still saying my account is on hold and won't let me run payroll.
I have QuickBooks for Mac 2020. Recently, I bought a new Mac mini. After transferring all my files to the new Mac and opening QuickBooks, I got a window stating that I had 14 more uses of QuickBooks 2020 before I had to register it. How do I register it? Why am I getting this message? I do not want to switch to a QB subscription, it's too expensive. I've never used any of the online services QB offers. I can accept not getting any more upgrades. We are a very small business and will probably close in 5 years or less. How can I continue to use my desktop QB 2020 for Mac? Thanks for your help! Terry

Report being run from 4/1/2021 - 3/31/2024 but columns show ending in 2/29/2024 with March 2024 in a separate column.
The way QuickBooks Desktop shows item hierarchy on screen is different from how it appears in print preview. On screen, it displays both the parent item and child item (like Parent Item: Child Item), but in print preview, only the child item is shown. The parent item is missing from the print preview. Please let me know how to resolve this issue.
