We just got a new computer. We installed Quickbooks 2016 and it is only working part of the time. When trying to open a company file, we are receiving an error message that something went wrong and we need to rebuild the company file. So we run the utility to rebuild the file, No issues are found, yet we still keep getting the error message. I am starting to think it is an Intuit virus created to force us to upgrade to a fee structured version of Quickbooks. Has anyone else had this problem?
Spent 2+ hours on the phone with a lovely person in support, no resolution. New PC, fresh install of Windows 11 Pro, fully updated, fresh install of Quickbooks 2024 Pro, fully updated to R4_15. Anti-virus and anti-malware programs uninstalled. I attempt to connect to my Intuit ID via Company / My Company / Sign In. Quickbooks stalls, just see the spinning circle of dots. Support tried a great many things, including switching default browser to Chrome, running QB in Windows 8 compatibility, running as admin, uninstall / reinstall... Apparently escalated to an investigations team that will contact me. Any ideas?
I am unable to add an additional user and I am the prim admin. We only have 2 users but I keep getting an error message.
How do I record entries for a loan? I have a long term liability loan set up , how do I record interest payments when doing interest only payments? also record the funds deposited to fund the loan?

I have an EIDL loan that we are not paying on the principal or interest yet. I have the loan principal set up as a long term liability. How do I record the interest accrual? I have a short term liability account set up - I assume I credit (increase) that account every month by the deferred interet, but what account do I debit?
My account has been deactivated with no reason given. After hours of communicating with the online chat and sales rep my options were, create a new account and potentially transfer control to that new account, or start over. I have run my business from this platform for over a year and need my information to do my taxes, run payroll, and run my business. Can anyone help me?
Hi, we created new team on developer portals. But I can not get authorization token on playground. I get error. You need admin permissions to connect this app to your company. How to I access that. I have been already added our team developer portal and QB online account.
My login today listed companies that I know about but shouldn't have access to. I clicked one and now I can't get to the one I want!
I know that I'm using the right credentials and have changed them multiple times with no success. I've removed the accounts and added them back in with no remediation.

Hello and thanks in advance for any help you can provide. I have the default checking account that was set up 2 years ago called "Business Checking" It was connected to my bank and transactions were being downloaded and categorized as expected until my bank changed online banking software. I followed their instructions to back up my data, disconnect the account in QBO, and reconnect it after the upgrade. This happened back in late August. So the "Business Checking" account in QBO has all transactions from 2020 through August of 2023. After following their procedure, I ended up with a 2nd checking account listed in QBO called "SMALL BUSINESS CKG (0010) - 4 - 1" which continued to receive transactions (from end of August 2023 to present). So now I have two checking accounts:Business Checking - the default checking account with the opening balance and all transactions thru Aug 2023SMALL BUSINESS CKG (0010) - 4 - 1 - the new account with transactions
I own multiple retail dealerships in different cities. Each location has a partner that is responsible to run their location including using QBs as their accounting and resource tool. Each location has their own license and I work.from a private office and I also have a license.Is there a way for me.to be able to access their QBs and look at reports and print reports? We tested putting a location in the cloud but that's not very convenient and has many drawbacks. We currently have 4 locations and plan to open more Thank you in advance.
Dear I open a new company in my current user but he new company in QBO I cannot change or edit the invoice template once I click the button for edit it shows nothing only a blank page i have tried the same in my current company it works but in the new company even I changed the browser all the same please i need help with this thank
For example:We are showing a Net profit for 2024 or $20,227and the graphic is stating that we are Down 28% from last year.What exactly does down 28% mean?
P&L has option to filter and choose accounts.Balance Sheet does not have that option.
