how can i see my deposits in QB
Original commenter did not share additional details
Hello, I use QBO in the account view. I create a Bill when I receive my cc statement so it shows up in AP and I can see how much I still owe in Pay Bills. Then I make a payment every week to this bill and record each payment under Pay Bills. I always pay the cc off each month. But, when it comes to the bank feeds, I can not figure out how to handle those. I have tried doing it different ways but it always seems to duplicate or leave one out. What is the proper way to handle these bank feeds?
In November of 2020, we purchased an existing company that had been using QBO. Their office staff posted payments in QB from customers. These show in the Bank Register but were actually deposited to the former owner’s bank account rather than our account. Our account has been completely reconciled, however, the bank balance in QB is nearly double what we have in our account. I believe it is due to the deposits showing that were before we bought the business. How can I fix this without messing something else up?
With linked banking accounts, how do I create a receipt so that the transaction shows up in customer transaction list
I need help depositing my paycheck to my bank account
Customer would like to pay an invoice for $60,000 by credit card. Is this possible?
I set up a bank subaccount to record the use of loan proceeds and reclassified the deposited funds to the subaccount. The initial transaction had already been reconciled, but I thought that wouldn't matter, since the subaccount is connected to the parent account. It looks like I was wrong. The reclass threw my reconciliation off. How do I correct this, and can you tell me how to ensure that the subaccount will be tied to the parent account for future reconciliations?
I needed to dispute a charge, but the webpage for greendot bank won't let me log in using my card number and sends me on an endless loop
I created a subaccount for our EIDL loan under our main checking account. I would like to record the deposit of the loan funds directly to the subaccount, but the subaccount doesn't appear as an option in the dropdown menu. Only the parent account appears. I created the subaccount so I could pay the expenses from the loan funds. I need the funds to be deposited into the subaccount in order to do this. It was my understanding that this is QBO's workaround for fund accounting. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.
The QuickBooks Online deposit form changed today. The field for category (chart of account category/account) used to suggest a value as you typed in the starting characters. Why does this no longer work as of today? It was working last night.
i cant create the deposit
In this article, the New button is used to indicate the transfer from bank to PayPal account. If Bank and Paypal accts are linked to QBO, why not just indicate the transfer by clicking on that item when in Paypal For Review and choosing Transfer etc.?
The credit journal entries show up on the list but the debit journal entry does not. Any idea why this is happening? the journals entries are NOT reconciled.
Tenant paid a security deposit. How should I record it?
A customer paid via wire transfer/check, however the payment was reversed. How should this be recorded and which category should be applied? If possible, how can the reversal link to the payment as well? Also this is a restaurant so there is a lot of customization as QB isn't set up too well for this industry such as we do not have QB traditional customers (we set up customers as various sales ex. cash sales, kiosk sales, etc..)
Please email me steps on how to proceed. Can anyone guide me in the right direction on printing out all my transactions I’ve made through my quick books debit card (checking account)
