My question has to do with the "Cash back goes to" dropdown in the Bank Deposit screen. I have no need to record anything in this cell and always delete the account that appears in the cell which is the first one in the drop down. Is there a way to change this default so that it is blank?

Hi All, As of late, when I reconcile each month for some reason my QuickBooks balance and posted bank balance do not match with all transactions being correct and reconciled. I have found this is because within the system there exist "system recorded fees" and "system recorded deposits" that seem to be being automatically generated and entered into the system when I take an online payment from a client. I just delete the system recorded entries which seem to be happening on their own and then my balances match and there is no further issue. Is this a setting that I can change to not have this problem? What is the function of system recorded entries and how to I stop them?? It doesn't seem like they serve any function and are messing up my books. See attached screenshot, thanks. Matt

Hello, One of my vendor did not receive his check that was issued. I stopped the check payment, and voided the check. I would like to reissue another check. What do I need to do?Thanks

Hi, I have a partial payment from a customer that was downloaded through bank feeds. When I match it to existing transactions, it says the total doesn't match the downloaded transaction amount. So I clicked resolve and put in the info to split the payment (I believe that is what I am suppose to do with a partial payment) however it still says it doesn't match. In the resolve screen I am putting the amount that the customer paid. Please Help!Cath
After I have received payments for several invoices, I try to make a deposit and their names are not there to post the deposit. help
I can download my bank transactions into QBO files. However, when I try to import them, I get a message that says:"QuickBooks is unable to verify the Financial Institution information for this download." I have a copy of a QuickBooks bank ID list, but my bank is not in the list. How do I get it there? Do I contact QuickBooks support or the bank? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
I received an expense from a vendor that is ACH directly from my bank account twice a month. I entered the expense and matched it when it hit the bank. The same vendor issued credit for the bill, depositing the funds back. I entered a vendor credit because I want record of the credit memo and expense (in and out), but how do I match the bank entry with the vendor credit which still shows a balance amount?
Hi All, Thanks in advance for trying to help. I have a public warehouse business so the issue is; Customer, A, who owes me, let's say 25k, and does business with Customer B for his goods at the warehouse. Customer A sells the goods for 35K to customer B. And asks Customer B to send full 35k to me. Asks me to close his balance for 25k and send the remaining 10k to him for his cost of goods sold. How do i record this transaction in QuickBooks desktop enterprise?? Thank you for your help.

I have a client who uses Venmo so I have connected their Venmo to QBO. There are some quirks like the balance imported is net (not including fees) and personal Venmo and business Venmo are ingested. This seems to be a problem with the Venmo data not QBO specifically. However I need to MFA daily to see the recent transactions. It is frustrating for both the client and I to have to request the MFA code daily. Is there any way to stop this?
I got a new Paypal card but it's the same number as before and has not expired
